Flowers In Your Hair

Another sunny day, possibly the hottest of the year so far here, though shorts are not an option. We are not broadcasting from the beach. There are standards. Also (for reasons I can't remember) the movie show is coming from our Westminster studios at Millbank. This means that I have to walk past all the BBC's parliamentary team, John Piennar, Carolyn Quinn, Norman Smith et al, and I would blush to be seen in anything less than blazer, flannels and a jaunty boater. Complete nudity would raise fewer eyebrows than shorts, so decorum will win the day. Any bloggers work in shorts? How hot does it need to get before you wear less?
Then I shall slip into something more rocknroll for the amble up to Radio 2 (I have a shimmering Brazilian cape I am keen to try out) and your ARF kicks off with some suggestions from 1967. It's the Summer Of Love everybody! Peace and love and sandals for all 9. It wasn't quite the thing in the Croydon primary school I was attending- we were more Janet and John than Mamas and Papas. But I'm looking to make amends...
By the time we get to 5pm, we can wear what we want btw...
