Good morning bloggers, here we are with a sunny Thursday, the weekend just around the corner and the World Cup about to start. You might be thinking, as Mr Loaf so memorably uttered awhile back, 2 out of 3 ain't bad. Or you might be looking forward to a few weeks of samba, heartache and intriguing analysis of Nigeria vs Bosnia-Herzegovina. If you don't like the football, there's always the 'best Brazilian wine to drink' supplements to browse- apparently they do a mean Chardonnay from their top wine-growing region, Serra Gaucha. I just pass that on in case it's of interest.
My wall chart is up on the kitchen door and no protests so far. Whether you are dreading the next few weeks or really looking forward to it all, share a WORLD CUP oldie with us all. Flag waving, despair, glory, tears, cheats and preening ninnies-all can be included in your thoughts. Especially preening ninnies-well see a lot of those falling over on screen very soon. Let the tune selection begin.
Nige does something with prawns and rice but I'll stick to the rice I think (he does this on purpose I think).
We kick-off at 5 obviously.
