I have suggested that we have that Canadian dish for breakfast. Poutine is new to me but in the interests of research, chips, gravy and cheese curd seems an interesting start to the day. I’m sure it is healthy in its own way. I like the sound of that mobile stall near Norwich that serves it, maybe time for Nigel to pay it a trip...

Lovely actor David Morrissey today, most recently seen in ‘The Missing’ and cameoing as a negotiator in the new League of Gentlemen reunions series. He’s about to spend a lot of time in toga and sandals as he has 2 Roman adventures on the go; Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar at the New Bridge Theatre in London (playing Mark Anthony) and a new Sky Atlantic TV series ‘Britannia’ where he plays invading Roman general Aulus Plautius charged by Emperor Claudius with invading a Britain which seemed populated exclusively by attendees of the Folk Awards. So with all this in mind, some essential ROMAN tunes, for our Roman playlist will be a fine thing.

Salvete!
