Well done troopers we made it through the week. Well I'm assuming we did....were any bloggers queuing at crazy times for crazy things at crazy prices? Anyone fighting for a fridge? I doubt it but you never know. I prefer the small boy listening to Chris who wanted it to be Fish Finger Friday. Now that's a good idea.
It certainly is a 2 show friday with more movies on 5L and another chance for me to have a chat with Hugh Bonneville (now there's someone who could still rock a cummerbund where necessary) . This one has a live stream via the website for the hard core Grantham fans. Makes a change from 2 old guys in a paper-strewn studio looking at screens and occasionally at each other. Paddington is out today and very good it is too. It's exactly the kind of family film everyone should see and not at all embarrassing to see on your own. Smart and funny, a top cast and warm-hearted. Hugh's not going to get a hard time here...
Then a quick blast of 1975 please to kick off the ARF. It's Mrs T replacing Edward Heath as Conservative leader, it's Monty Python and the Holy Grail and it's the debut of Fawlty Towers. But what song goes here? Your choice please!
