Well don’t let the cloud and cold put you off. This could be a great day. You never know what might be in store-wonder, delight, chocolate, new friends, birdsong, new flavours, old jumpers, grateful family, getting served in a phone shop etc (ok that last one was preposterous). Onwards…
2 shows to perform. Movies with the Coen brothers Joel and Ethan comes first; their new movie is Hail Caesar! starring George Clooney as a 1950s movie star kidnapped by communist writers. It’s very funny and they are good company as you will hear.
Then we’ll ARF and cheers all round for 1982, your opening year selection. The Eurovision Song Contest is in Harrogate, the Pope is in Canterbury. We watched the Mary Rose being hauled from the Solent, followed by a trip to see ET or Gandhi (dodgy timeline here but go with it). But what shoulder-padded, perm-tastic tune would you fancy?
Wrap up. Skip. Wave. Here comes the weekend.
