Sunny morning-after here, good day y’all (Thursday is always Bob Harris day with our favourite Country show at 7). Hot-tubed it to the Brits last night, squeezing in at the last minute but just in time to see Coldplay start proceedings. Jeremy V was impeccably dressed in the black tie stipulated by the invite but I’m afraid I let the side down slightly by still being in my work clothes. Though it’s rocknroll so all is well. And fortunately Jo Whiley was on hand (in between her red carpet chats) to tell me that that was Drake on stage with Rihanna down there. This was useful as I hadn’t been totally up to speed on his latest work. Jo had access to everyone and you can hear her Adele chat tonight! Lorde was great, Jess Glynne was great but this years show will be remembered for Adele sweeping all before her. As she said, not bad for a girl from Tottenham who was afraid of flying.
