I feel I have missed out. Lots of talk about the fiery green light that streaked across the sky last night. Sounds pretty awesome. Staffordshire sky watchers had all the fun. It may well turn out to be a celestial St Patrick’s day stunt or something similar (look out for wise men from the East). All I experienced was another chapter of 1971, David Hepworth’s new book about what he calls ‘Rock’s Golden Year’ - he’ll be on soon enough to make his case
Nigel offers some slow roasted brisket tonight and meantime we’ll be playing some TEXAS oldies. We’ll be talking to Jo Whiley who is there for the South By Southwest festival and, after our show yesterday, taking a trip to that fabulous sounding car wash.
