Grey skies, cold temps. But hoping for a top-notch Friday with added sparkle where needed. That sparkle will probably come from some top callers after 5 is my guess; kids choosing songs for parents, passengers laughing at the driver who’s negotiating the M8 for them or a someone baking a million cakes for a village stall. All part of the All Request Magic. We shall start with some 1997 action. Thats 19 years ago team. Good grief. Hello Teletubbies, Channel 5 and Dolly the cloned sheep. Britain hands Hong Kong back to China, Tony Blair wins, John Major loses and most importantly (though few realised it at the time) the most significant book of the year is published to no fanfare at all-Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. At the movies it was Titanic, Good Will Hunting and The Full Monty. And on the radio? What is your fancy?
First its the movie show at MIDDAY. This is because of horses and jockeys and betting and the like. You know how it is.
