Morning all, turning out nice here and I think turning out nice for most of us I think. Some Autumnal warmth in prospect-always a wonderful thing. And what with gourds and squashes from Nigel, we are in full fall-mode. My favourite season I think. Or maybe spring. One of the two. Not sure.
Film show time with Sir Ridley Scott, top director. The man who was responsible for Alien, Blade Runner and Gladiator has helmed The Martian, the adaptation of Andy Weir’s book of the same name. It stars Matt Damon as the botanist left behind on Mars. it has everything you need from a space movie plus a 70s disco soundtrack. And laughs. Don’t miss Sir Ridley!
Then we’ll sort some fine tunes for your ARF and if you fancy delving into a few big songs, lets try 1983 as your opening tune. Breakfast TV turned up on BBC and ITV, we had A-prefix cars on sale and the Compact Disc (compact disc?)went on sale for the first time. Fancy a song?
