Wednesday already, the coffee is on and the sun is still out. Rain on the way, child 3 says he has a waterproof at school (we will see) and a top show on the way (though obviously you'll be the judge on that). How are all the top bloggers here on the top blog?
Lovely to have Paul Carrack and John Cleese on yesterday-a big 70s memory trip for the most part. Maybe everyone did know that 'How Long' was about Sutherland Brothers and Quiver borrowing their bass guitarist and not infidelity, but I didn't. Not bad for your first song eh?
We have the rather wonderful James McAvoy with us today. He is one of a whole host of stars in the new X-Men movie, playing the young Charles Xavier. This is the role popularised by Sir Patrick Stewart and James plays the younger Charles (stop me if you know all this stuff) and in this film, they act together-it's a terrific scene too.
James has been A-list for ages. Anyone who has seen him in Last King of Scotland, State of Play, Filth or Shameless will know what a fine actor he is. He's on from 6 and your SUPER POWER oldies will be lovely. Charles Xavier, by the way, can boast telepathy, invisibilty, animal communication and astral projection. In case that helps.
5pm ok with you?
