Damp, moist, brighter later

Thursday already. Bank holiday weekend on the way and sunshine and showers look to be the order of the day. Would you mind awfully if I take next week off? This has to be passed by a majority of bloggers or it might not happen.I remember from university politics that everything has to quorate and if there aren't enough taking part, all decisions are invalid.
So assuming we have a quorum we can continue. To justify my absence I will of course be gathering new listeners, knocking on doors, handing out sherbet lemons, hearing confessions and campaigning for the Radio 2 cause. And it's only a week for heavens sake. It isn't the case of course that holidays are always restful but I shall do my best to eat responsibly and drink only when Nigel says I can. Svelte, lithe and gorgeous (stop sniggering Williams and Pike) , I shall return on Monday week. But only if you say I can obvs.
Nige does Apple and Olive Oil Cake with Maple Icing (caps? no caps?) and we'll do PASSWORD oldies please as yet another online scare has meant millions of users scurrying to change passwords. And then forget them forever. Some password pop please!
1700 hours?
