Morning bloggers, and one of those 'the neighbours car alarm has been going off non stop all night and why can't they just turn it off' sort of mornings here. If they've gone away, we might be in for an interesting few days. Meantime...

Movie time on 5L with Sir Patrick Stewart talking X-Men and special powers. He's the older Charles Xavier to James McAvoy's whippersnapper and always an entertaining guest. It's a fine film too with a great ensemble cast. And your ARF is waiting in the wings with an opening song from (the mists clear, the drums roll) 1982. A good year I think! The big sellers were The Jam, ABC, Roxy Music and Iron Maiden with Tight Fit and Captain Sensible having a say in matters. In the news the Queen had a night visit from Michael Fagan, the pope visited the UK and the first Adrian Mole book was published. And where were you in 1982? Your host was waving farewell to Worthing Council car parks department and joining BBC Radio Nottingham. That uniform never suited me really...

ARFO songs please, see you at 5, then I'm off for a week. Thanks for your permission to leave, I'll invest the time wisely.

And my guess is 675
