...the wreath is still on the door. Everything else is gone, boxed, forgotten but the ornate circle of berries, leaves and thorns is still there. No one wants to remove it clearly. At least this year's wasn't nicked. But if we want to avoid sanctions from the festive fuzz then action is needed. It wouldn't surprise me at all if our local council gives penalty notices for stuff like this. Well let them come and take it if they're hard enough. (That's told 'em)

Cranking up for a wonderful Wednesday from your Drivetime team (I am making a few assumptions here, I haven't checked with any of them. Just assuming...) We can offer top historian Dan Snow who is re-discovering the Wild West. Well to be precise is travelling 280 miles down the Grand Canyon in a wooden boat, following in the er, footsteps of one of the great adventurers, one-armed, civil war veteran John Wesley Powell. My experience of the Grand Canyon was a slightly more rocknroll one. How about a helicopter from Vegas, into the canyon, touching down at the bottom, a quick bevvie in 120 degree heat, and then back again? Now that's exploring! Film that Dan!

He's good company is Dan and he'll explain his trip after 6. And DISCOVERY and ADVENTURE oldies please to weave into the show. Thanks!

One week nearly, mainly done. We can do it. See you after 5
