Good morning groovers. Here we are on a lovely, promising, fragrant Tuesday. With the exception of a trip to the dentist and 2 meetings to attend, everything is good. And actually one of the meetings is our Book Club selection panel and that's just rather enjoyable. We sit around a large room with a pile of books, a plate of biscuits and some strong opinions. We filter out all but the finest novels and end up with a shortlist that is eagerly awaited by publishers, authors and, if truth be told, other book clubs. Anyway yesterdays Black Eyed Susans is a case in point, a top thriller. And we’ll announce our latest title today at 6.30.
So we’re in guitar hero mode here as David Gilmour returns to the show, as he promised he would. When he was last in to talk about the last Pink Floyd album, he was working on the new solo album, now titled Rattle That Lock. And immediately that SNCF jingle pops into your head, never ever to leave. He’ll unveil a new track too as another top exclusive! So we really just need to add GUITAR HERO oldies to the pile and we’ll be flying. Get some classic guitar songs on the show right now! And what’s with all the exclamation marks anyway!?
