Always a useful standby. If in doubt, sunshine and showers will usually do it. Here we go with another week of (hopefully) audible recovery and fine drivetime shows for your pleasure.
I did a weird thing this weekend-nothing. Actually sat on the sofa and watched 4 episodes of Modern Family....in the afternoon. It felt decadent in the extreme. And then further TV shows were watched. And my book was read with gusto. And everywhere, hardcore relaxation was in evidence. Sloth was much in evidence and I can only apologise for my moral collapse. Hard work resumes today and the sunny uplands of moral righteousness beckon [ok we get the picture, move on sunshine].
Country star Eric Church today, hopefully complete with his trademark aviation sunglasses. Bob H introduced me to his 'Chief' album, the most famous track being Springsteen, and now his new work is 'The Outsiders'. It's way more edgy than most country albums and he wasn't sure how country fans would react but he got a standing ovation at the CMAs. Some serious twang after 6.
And SPRING oldies please (yes it is say the Met Office) The daffs, birds and butterflies are back and there's light for most of the show! Spring has sprung all over and the songs are needed.
No slacking, no sofa till it's dark.
See you at 5.
