#MCA6Music - help pick the Ultimate MCA Playlist
On Friday evening came the terrible news that Adam Yauch had passed away aged just 47.
The Brooklyn rapper performed as MCA with the Beastie Boys who became one of the most important and influential acts of the ‘90s.
Tonight’s show was meant to celebrate the great Bobby Womack, but we felt given the magnitude of this news and the widespread feelings of sadness from all corners of the musical world we should celebrate the huge impact MCA has had.
So we want you to help pick the Ultimate MCA Playlist:
· Be that Beastie Boys classics, rarities or B-sides
· Others from the Brooklyn whose music just wouldn’t quite be the same if it wasn’t for MCA and the Beastie Boys
· Acts produced by Rick Rubin who worked on their debut album Licence to Ill – like Run DMC, Aerosmith and Rage against the Machine
· Other Def Jam acts like Jay Z or Public Enemy
· Or any other link you can make to MCA

Tears Running Down My Face 'Cause I Love To Do It
And No One Can Stop This Flow From Flowing On
A Flow Master In Disaster With A Sound That's Gone
I'll Give A Little Shout Out To My Dad And Mom
For Bringing Me Into This World And So On"
