Now Streaming - Beirut, The Throne, Blood Orange...
Beirut are back with their third album, The Rip Tide. Up now on NPR to listen to, it’s the band’s third album and is out on August 29.
Kanye West and Jay-Z, together The Throne. There has been so much chat about this album online keyboards across the world haven’t been able to prepare themselves for the frequent use of ‘Z’. Anyway, Watch the Throne is out now on iTunes and a number of sites, including Soul Culture, have created a playlist of the whole thing using Grooveshark.
Dev Hynes (Lightspeed Champion) has been working on a new project and you can hear the first album from it now now on Hypem. Called Blood Orange and the album is called Coastal Grooves – Song Operated cast their ear over it.
And a lot of blogs are quite excited about Mister Heavenly’s debut album. Out next week on Sub Pop, the super group contains Man Man’s Honus Honus, Islands’ Nick Diamonds and Modest Mouse’s Joe Plummer – have a listen at One Thirty BPM.
