Bank Holiday Monday and we were delighted to take the hot seat from Steve Lamacq during drive – but I guess it isn’t drive on Bank Holiday… So let’s say cocktail hours maybe?



And it was pretty hectic!



For the first hour we played tracks which summed up your favourite memories from Reading and Leeds in bygone years. The likes of The Offspring, TV on the Radio and Symposium – which Producer Rowan has particularly vivid memories of.



Then we moved onto crazy cover versions in light of the success The Muppets’Green Album is having. Everything from Hayseed Dixie, William Shatner and Girls Aloud… Arctic Monkeys anyway doing their Love Machine.



It was a packed show, and we just about managed to squeeze in some #NowPlayings and welcomed Slutty Fringe, Robot Pigeon and The Mahogany Blog onto the show.
