Digital Digest: Bjork, Lounge on the Farm, Glastonbury and more

Bjork’s new album is going to be released with an app per track. Biophilia will have a separate app for each track, held together by a mother app letting fans interact with the song as well as the associated visuals. CMU have details. 



Kent based Lounge on the Farm are giving away a free mixtape ahead of the festival at the beginning of next month. Available via Soundcloud, it features a number of the artists who are performing at the event such as Summer Camp, Trophy Wife, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Benjamin Francis Leftwich and many more.



Staying with festivals, Glastonbury and Orange have launched their app for 2011. Available for iPhones, Android and Nokia handsets, it allows users to schedule their weekend, there is an interactive map with now and next listings and mood map, as well as news and ability to share line-ups via Facebook before and during the festival. My Morning Jacket are the latest band to take part in YouTube’s Unstaged – gigs organised by the site and streamed live. The band took to the stage last night in Louisville and were joined onstage by Erykah Badu for Wordless Chorus – check it out.
