Now Playing @6Music tracklist May 20, 2011
This week on Now Playing we looked to Johnny Marr - one of the best manipulators of six strings - after news emerged this week he is planning a new Healers album for release next year, as well as a world tour beginning this October in New York. All was revealed in an interview given to Billboard.
As well as Mr Marr, we looked at Bon Iver as they released loads of more information as well as a free download on their offical website this week ahead of their self-titled second album.
We had Faded Glamour and Put Me On It giving us their musical recommendations - all in all it was pretty swell.

#Blogger - Amelia from Put Me On It
Lianne La Havas - Final Form

Muse - Time is Running Out
#Listener's Mix - Songs which remind me of my Tintagel, Cornwall, summer holiday from last week
Gill Scott-Heron & Jamie XX - My Cloud (this song was played loud in my car whilst we headed up some massive hills and flew back down the other side on the way to Eden Project. Standard procedure in the South)
Sweet Billy Pilgrim - Future Perfect Tense (This track was part of our holiday playlist for the iPod me and my partner Catherine created. Played whilst at our log cabin)
Helios - Halving The Compass (our morning song, which didn't wake our holiday neighbours as it's such a peaceful piece of music. The Bird song blends in to the world)
Emiliana Torrini - Sunny Road (We tried to star gaze every night and manged to see plenty of Satalites not much else though)
Four Tet - Angel Echoes (This track was part of our holiday playlist for the ipod me and my partner Catherine created. Played everyday whilst at our log cabin)
Memory Tapes - Bicycle (This song was put on the playlist as it is a reminder of how in Tintagel, Cornwall we biked everywhere (helping towards our Tintagel Tan), we biked down to the pub and pasty shop. Compared to Colchester, Essex where we drive every where!)
Talking Heads - Nothing But Flowers (via Facebook and Text)
