The MPFREE has been absent for a few days due to a rather important festival, but it returns today with a belter of a tune from one of the planet’s most revered bands.

This is their first brand new material for nine years and yes that may sound like Kim Deal – although she left the band a couple of weeks ago – The Pixies have indeed confirmed that it is not Kim D, but Kim S. She’s Kim Shattuck, former front woman of the “bubble-fuzz” band the Muffs. This free download is promoting the first leg of their brand new world tour which hits the UK in November and takes in Manchester on 21st, Glasgow the following day and London on 24th.
