It’s been released on Brooklyn label Dutty Artz and see the protagonists Geko Jones (who describes himself as a ‘tropical bass specialist’) and Atropolis teaming up with artists on Colombian label Palenque to create dance floor versions of Palenquero music – which has a rich 400-year history don’t you know.
