Lucy has become less selfish? I seriously doubt it. If she is thinking of Ians welfare, then she has a very odd way of showing it. She is merely thinking of herself as usual and has expanded her blinkered vision to incorporate Bobby. That is all.

If she had truly become less selfish, then she may have stopped long enough to recall all those horrible things she said to her dad literally moments before he had his breakdown. Mandy had wounded Ian, Ben had shaken and scared Ian, but when Ian was fragile and looking for support Lucy just thought of herself and blew his world apart. (Not forgetting that Mandy may have still been around if Lucy had not been so vile to her)

It is hard to see what Lucy has left to gain from keeping Ian around. She has the house, the businesses..... maybe she wants cheap staff and a free childminder... or she wants to keep Ian close in case she needs an organ.

Well, let's face it Lucy couldn't get anymore selfish, could she ? Poor Ian just need some TLC. The Kat affair storyline is more of a who cares ? than who is it?

Kats mystery man is Derek...

I've been doing some detective work, on Kat's mystery man lol, looking at the photo above with the four men it could be, and looking at the episode were Kat's cleaning up the mystery man's hand after the punch up, I think it's either Michael or Max... But out of the two I'm going to say Michael. Hope I'm right!!!! :)

its derek. i dont think the hand was meant to mean anything. a lot of subtle hints are coming from like kats change in her appearance and some of her scenes like shirley & tanya tonight that suggests its derek.

I would say that the Queen Vic brawl has mostly eliminated Michael. He spent the entire fight keeping out of it and did not seem to throw any punches that I saw, although he did give Fatboys nipples a tweak. Derek and Jack certainly punched people, and Max got his knuckles scraped at the door. My guess would be Max.... but I would not be surprised if the sriptwriters were playing us all for mugs and all five of the presented suspects were red herrings and it turned out to be Billy Mitchell, Sayid, Fatboy or Masood.... or the guy who ran the chicken takeaway.

It's SO obvious the mysterious man is MICHAEL!!! All the signs are there!!! He's buying Janine's a nice car out of guilt. Men do that especially when they feel guilty especially having an affair!! The body language between him and Kat just before there was a fight in the pub earlier in the week, all the flirting and smilling, and who else does Alfie let to sit and let Kat nursing in their living room. All the signs are there!

Just now ive read it on digitalspy Syed and Christian will be wrriten out in November from the soap ....It is really sad how many acters departured from EastEnders now.

I think the mystery man is Jack, I have from the start. I don't think it's Derek at all. Max, I'm not so sure about but I definately think its Jack. Second thoughts would be Michael, but I hope I'm wrong on that.
