I loved Hev she brought some much needed comedy at times to a gloomy EE, hopefully the new EP will bring someone with comedy value to replace her!!

sad to see hev go, what is shirl going to do? cheryl fergison has been outstanding in the role of heather trott. i thought linda henrys tribute to her was excellent. i personally think it was a mistake to kill the character of heather as their was a lot more to explore and it would have been nice to see heather marry, but this is ee afterall. but saying that a superb ep on monday, the acting was superb and i know we shouldnt mention other soaps on aunty, but i thought ee ep was far more compelling than the rival northern salford soap's reveal eps. i'm looking forward to the rest of the weeks ep's in walford. and finally jean in the charity shop, i just wanted to give her a big hug.

Sorry to see Heather (and Cheryl) go. I felt she brought something a bit different to Walford and was one of the few genuinely nice people.



I hope Phil is really proud of the damage he's done to Ben. Indirectly, Heather is just another of Phil's long list of victims.

I can't belive heather has gone :( :( she was a lovely and jolly person with a heart full of gold!! I wish she had a better ending :( she really deserved a happy ending. One of my favourite characters without a doubt, always bringing such warmth to the square. R.I.P heather and I hope that twisted and sick ben gets what he deserves, lifetime imprisionment!

Killing her off was in very poor taste. After everything shes been through they could have at least given her a happy ending.

I'm really upset to see Heather (Cheryl) go! I think it was a mistake to kill her of. All the best characters are going!

I think a better ending would have been if she was almost like a hero. Like... George was in danger(E.g. Ben was about to hurt him when he got mad) so Heather protected him and stood up for him.

I know it isn't like her character at all, but I think her end came too quickly. It all happened so fast! Heather deserved a more dramatic ending. That storyline had so much potential...

I have decided I should never 'like' any characters again. It seems that whenever I like a character, those pesky scriptwriters kill them off. Heather did not deserve an ending like that. She deserved a happy ending....

If I had been in charge of her exit, I would have let her marry Andrew and get on that train into the sunset..... perhaps even with a Cameo appearance from George Michael at the end, sitting on the same train as Hev and Andy. Maybe with Faith playing over the end titles for an extra special exit.



As for Ben.... Is it too much to ask that Ben actually gets put away for his crime? I would hate for yet another story that implies that people can get away with murder. Or better still.... lock Ben in a room with Andrew.

I hope that Ben finally gets exactly what he needs as a result of last night's episode. He is one sick "psycho" and needs a size small straight jacket. If he is not removed from Walford soon there might be less and less cast members left in the square! Kat will come home from caring for Charlie and find a lonely little green gecko dancin' on the bar in the Vic!

Heather you were treated like a joke in the square and it should be Ben in your place and he should ROT in HELL!!!!!!

Ben used to be such a cute little boy who loved to dance, a little annoying, maybe, but tolerable. Now he is a complete monster, and that makes me so irritated at the writers. The baby swap, getting rid of Ronnie and killing off Pat was bad enough, and now this. I hope Ben gets either life in prison or is killed off, because that's what he deserves.



Heather didn't deserve to die, and if Ben had heard her out, he would know that she DIDN'T grass him up.



I think I need to stop getting emotionally attached to characters because everytime I do, they get axed.

First, they all are fantastic actors/actresses.

Hev, was always catching hell for sommat. She would give you the shirt off her back.

All she wanted to do was help Ben, but, you know what them Mitchell's are like.

All a bunch of nutters. I was hoping she would wake up after a bit and Shirl would

find her alive... Guess, for whatever reason, her time on the show was up..

Now. what about cute George. Will he be out too???Or will Darren come back to take care of him since he's the daddy..

Really feel terrible about Heather's death. Seeing those moments with little George really --- how cruel can the EE writers be, killing off such a sweet person! Now we can look forward to a long business of people trying to pin it on Andrew, the outsider. And how long will we have to wait before the PoS Ben will finally be recognized as the villain. It will be hard to continue watching this show! I have been watching in the U.S. from the beginning.

Heather was a fantastic character. We have all been watching and we hope that there will be justice... Ben is finding lying too easy he is so smug. Please may Heather have justice - Ben must be found guilty! We are hoping that Jay will be honest and Phil will come to his senses... Heather was Shirley's best friend.

Eastenders Writers... This is one big huge mistake. There was really no reason to lose her, Cheryl is a great actress.



Heather is one of the characters that form the long term glue of soaps. A background character that adds reaction and resonance to more up front storylines and action. Soaps aren't soaps without them.



We've lost Pat, Peggy, Pauline, Ethel, Minty, Arthur and sadly probably Jim. I just hope we won't lose Dot. Eastenders shouldn't just be the playground of pantomine baddies (who mentioned Michael, Zainab and Derek) and their storylines, there's more to life and drama than that.

It is a great shame that all of the characters are being eliminated from this programme. It feels like it is losing its way somehow and gradually getting less interesting. Its starting to get more like a second rate Coronation Street. Let's hope we keep Dot!! Careful - who ever the writers/casters are - you really are not so good. We really don't need sex interest - we can get that anywhere/everywhere- this show programe was about believable characters and human relationships. Use/get some better really creative writers. Getting a bit second rate gangsterfied. Shame.

why do all the good characters get written out of the series? There have been more changes than I have hot dinners! I was waiting for the transformation of Heather, and that she finds love at last.

Cant believe Heather didnt get a happy ending BOOO!!!! I really hope that this storyline isnt dragged out past it's 'sell by' date for months on end (Yusef/Masood thing that went on for months, some good stuff but honestly guys week in/week out of: Zainab looking misrable/Yusef looking shifty/Masood looking sad did my head in!). If Eastenders reflects the gritty 'real' world then the police will cart Ben off soon, and not before time!

So sad to see Hev go. I have loved the relationship with Heather and Shirley, so many funny moments and glad we had one more in the dance at the hen do! priceless. Heather was unique, looks vulnerable but has principles and love for all people! even Ben! she is the vicim of her goodness in a way. I think Eastenders needed to continue having such a character around, for it is very very much true to life, more than others! she was able to reflect in very tiny expressions the many conflicts in and around her. She wanted Shirley for love, while Shirley needed he for some control. Great actress, from Holland, I watched he with admiration, and wish her success in further career.

Such a lovely character is was!:( So kind and fun loving, big good child. 0 out of 10 to the EE writes for what they did to this character. First that disgusting story line when she had a baby with a teenager, now killing her off. Booooooooo, hissssss! Hope Cheryl has something exciting lined up for her career wise and in her personal life!

WOW! my eyes hurt from crying that much, Heather you were the most loved character on Eastenders and it is very sad to see you be killed off! We all hope Ben gets everything that is coming to him... Poor Andrew he must be in so much shock and to get put in the frame for the murder, i feel so sorry for Jay for being dragged into one of Bens traps, and Linda Henry played Shirley so well on these episodes, overall i am truly heartbroken, there has not been an episode that I haven't cryed at even Eastenders Revealed... 10\10 R.I.P. Wow, am I the only person who isn't sorry to see Heather go? Sorry that she/the character was killed off but I never liked Heather, big heart and all. She wasn't the brightest bear in the park and that is putting it mildly. If anything I found her irritating, hopeless, naive and sometimes downright stupid. Mind you, kudos to the actress - that is a helluva job to portray such a character so convincingly.

We are reallysorry to see heather go. I would liked her to have had a happy ever after! Here in South Africa we are about a month behind the UK screenings and we dont get the 'red button' extras unfortunately, nor can we watch any of the video material on the blog. But we love Eastenders non the less. Keep up the good work

I finally got caught up on my EE shows and watched as Hev was taken away,a tear to my eyes knowing that Hev won't be on there anymore.Her character was done so well and really portrayed real life hardships of a single Mom and such. Your a real LV and we will miss you ,but never forget you.

The BBC is MAD to axe Heather! She is one of the few positive role models amongst a fairly amoral bunch. EE won't be the same without her.

How stupid having her die from a photo frame the character deserved more of a better exit than that and she shouldn't of been killed off in the first place shes the sort of character that could of been in the show for years that's the trouble with Eastenders they kill of all are favorite characters they want to start leaving popular ones in the show for years and years like they did in the older days

I cannot believe they killed hev off, she was great and funny I really enjoyed her, I dont want to watch the show any more , unless they change it like Dallas have ben wake up and realise what a horrible nightmare he had and forgive his dad and get him out of jail, and hev elopes and marry ,,,, happy ending for HEV,,,,
