Ive just seen todays. EPIC!!! It was ad to see heather go, I seriously hate Ben now!! :/

Tonights episode was awwwssommee! But ben is out of control i wonder if he goes to jail for that???

Seriously dislike Ben, he is such a coward.

He should have just ran away to see Peggy and stay with her, rather than keep

fighting for Phil's approval. Now he is gonna be more worse off than before.



Poor Jay getting mixed up in this as well.



Most of all, poor Heather, she has so many things she want sorted first, and is

forced to end like this.

i thought that the killing would be a lot more intricate?

It is so sad to lose Heather, but her "killing" was very unconvincing. No bang on the head, then she collapsed. I can't believe one of them did not know CPR! I guess they just panicked. In any case, why couldn't they just have her elope with Andrew?

No, seriously, EE writers? How come Jay was there when Ben killed Heather and didn`t stop him? One of the reasons Phil wishes Jay was his son is that Jay is strong in many ways, a lot stronger than Ben. And I don`t think he is going to tell the police, even though his own father was murdered, too. Sorry, that was rubbish.

@monalisa: he was just jumping around shouting:"Stop it Ben! I am so sorry Hev!". But the fact that he is not going to tell the police, it`s even worse. And he is not going to, because that would mean many years of prison for Ben, and I didn`t hear any rumors about Ben actor leaving.

It is awful how they have got rid of Hev she was excellent character, why not get rid of that vile character who thinks he is one of the Krays, Derek. Cannot stand the way this storyline is going, get rid now!

I reckon the storyline will be is Ben tells Ian he killed Heather as she grassed him up and Ian tell him is wasnt Heather it was me and he end up going to police and comfess to murder or he'll go on run

Ben needs psychiatric help.. "He'll Go Darnn for it"!! Even the Mithcells carnt cuvver dis unn up (Sniff) So Ben goes to Broadmoor, and is written out. Jay steps up to be King Pin for Phill. "Appy evver after wiv der Mitchells"!!! Or Grant comes bacy to "Sort it"!!!!! :-))

such a shame i loved heather and hate ben he didnt even try to save her and feel so so so sorry for jay and plz let the police find out it was ben but it was a very exciting episode :) :D

I am absolutely gutted about what's happened to Heather. Do we not have decent story tellers anymore or is this the BBC cutting down on costs? I mean really!!! Couldn't we just have a happy occasion for ONCE on Eastenders or is that too much to ask? Well that's it for me - I will no longer be watching this programme!

I've been an EastEnders fan since day one but I'm starting to get fed up now. I really liked Heather it was not a good idea to write her out. For Gods sake get rid of Derek I can't stand the man. And I think Corra needs acting lessons she is so wooden.

At the end of tonight's episode,tension mounted when Shirley entered Heather's place.Then we were just shown the front door and I was waiting to hear Shirley scream. Instead of which,the Eastenders theme tune came on and it ended .My daughter and son in law thought exactly the same as me.What on earth were the writers thinking? A complete screw-up !!

just want to say what a great actor Jamie Borthwick is. showed a different side to the character and made me want to watch eastenders more often now to see what happens. fantastic portrayal and performance. Ive always thought this but tonight was exceptional. well done!!

miss heather trotts character,played very well by cheryl,loved her acting was fantastic and a loveable lady,you are a true star,cannot believe they killed off your character,they should of got rid of their writers instead

also i cnt believe eastenders there getting rid of the gr8 characotrs but keeping the boring ones ,billy for i,e is a gloryfied extra and ben is the same

I also think the writers have been really slack with this storyline, for example when ben struck heather with foto frame there was no noise, was so unrealistic, & tonight when shirl went to heaths flat, i also was waiting for a huge scream too, which wuld have been heart-wrenching but adding to the drama which is what we wanted! surely this storyline cant be wriitten by the same team who wrote the steve owen/saskia/matthew ashtray murder storyline!! now that was realistic & dramatic! what a shame as i think she deserved a far more well written script for her final scences! come enders sort it out , huge dissapointment!

why is Eastenders always doom and gloom, after all Hev has been through why kill her of why not let her get married and sail of into the sunset,, really thought the writers would of learnt with the Danielle story line and the baby switch story. getting seriously pissed of with the constant doom of the soap, so you have lost yet another fan of the soap.

Last night was one of the best Eastenders I have ever see. Phil knows there is something seriously wrong with Ben and so dose Ian. I think Phil will have to kill Ben eventually he's out of control or he's going to end up in a mental hospital. Would hate to think that Jay is going to go down for it. just so we can all keep watching that little sod Ben.

looking foreward to tonight's episode. And why do people want eastenders to be happy ,that would be boring seeing people walking around and hugging each other. any way like I said at the top looking foreward to tonights episode!!

Characters depressing,story lines depressing set depressing no more Easto's for me it's the absoloute pitts and all before the watershead. Disgusting and ridiculous story lines.... are the writers actually getting paid for this muck.

I think Killing heather off has ruined the show for me. I wish they never killed her off, I wanted to see her have a happier ending then this, Totally ruined it.

I agree with everyone else's moans about how the murder storyline was handled. Would've liked to actually see Shirley find the body of her best mate. Too many crucial things happen off camera for me. The point of a soap is that we, the viewers are the flies on the wall to the lives of these characters and we want to see real time reactions not just the aftermath. By the way, how long has Lola been pregnant now? It doesn't look as if she's wearing any baby bump padding yet.

tonights epiode was good. congrats to all cast involved. but can any one tell me who played the part of the tramp and where have i seen him b4 (not on a park bench i might add, maybe 70's or 80's comedy)?

I also noticed there was no scream but realised after why they might have left it out, I was anticipating it, however...it may have bee left out as Shirley was in shock and is a tough bird who would have thought about George so did not scream. Gutted heath left as her and Shirley used to have me in stitches. love Eastenders lighten up a bit though don't go into cheese like a well known northern soap has..that would be dire. The guy who plays Derek is a good actor u just seem to be doing nothing with him, something less obvious would be the way to go!

I know there has to be bad characters and sad, dramatic story lines to keep the show 'interesting' but can we at least get rid of some of the 'bad' characters who actually have us cringing. Ben is so annoying now... I know eastenders is trying to show how having Phil for a dad can make you turn out but Ben is not a convincing bad boy. We need more characters like Kim, fat boy, zainab, alfie. They are great. hillarious. The storylines are great but I'd prefere not to be depressed EVERY time I watch eastenders.

The bbc need to get the facts right andrew dropped the envelope that had the money in the park so how come the police found it on his person

junejam, if I remember correctly, Andrew went back to the park and picked up the empty envelope, he must have taken it with him. I really hope Andrew doesn't go down for Hev's murder, I quite like him. I'm also really disturbed by the buzz Ben seems to be getting from what he did. I think he'll kill again. I feel sorry for Jay, he's taking it really hard and the lad who plays him is acting it brilliantly.

what a shame hev is leaving couldn't we have had a happy ending just for a change.Thought programme was due to improve and humour come back with return of Alfie & Kat,about to put my new year resolution in to practice at last & not watch anymore.I have watched from the first episode but I think it's had it's day!! why is it becoming ee`s style that anybody leaving must die or leave with calamity? can`t u fashion a more decent way of exit? it is only those that you feel; might come back that leave peacefully, must death be only the way to express permanent departure? i am sick of these. againg because u want the story to go your way, look at how andrew that we know was almost dumb even on the verge of been wrongly taking as a murderer. andrew that we know will never "fold" his arms like that to the extend of being nicked and he can`t even put up a strong arguement or defence, what stops him from telling them he was at the train station and from there he came only to find out the bad incident. b4 court or too long please,please and please expose the culprit and free the innocent and retrace the way you fashion out story please

they didnt write her off and they didnt want her to go hev made the choice to go as she wanted to move on and do somink else with her life, if you watched last nights thing on no 7 she did say that she wanted to go, but all the outher people in eastenders didnt want her to go... OMG Heather's dead! Nooo! I want Ben to go down, cause he is completely psychotic, but I don't want Jay to get into trouble. He didn't do anything wrong, I mean, you can totally see how upset and guilty he is feeling. Poor Shirley, losing your best mate is horrible but to lose her when you've just had a fight... jeez.



Dear Eastenders Team, please don't do anything stupid like have Jay get put in prison and Ben gets off or Shirley kills someone. It's not necessary, it's actually really unrealistic because people can deal with grief without killing someone, and in reality, Ben would get locked up. Thank You

What has really shocked me is that Phil has a washing machine in his HOUSE !!!!! No wonder we never see him in the launderette.

Ben makes me sick! If i was Phil, i would have just dragged him straight to the police station. Heather was INNOCENT. It was Ian who told. The producers really need to kill Ben off of the show cuz he is the one reason why i would stop watching Eastenders. He turns me off BIG TIME ! >:(



R.I.P Hev

Probably the first and last comment I'll ever post. Whilst I appreciate this is a soap and is meant to be entertainment, but this programme is becoming ridiculous. I have watched and followed EE since the beginning, but I have now watched the final episode. The acting is always excellent but the storylines are becoming so far fetched i can no longer watch. It was meant to be gritty and realistic and for many years this was so. Now it is unbelievable and, dare I say, farcical. even in these austere times life is not always as black as the script writers will want you to believe. I think it started when Masood was gambling and instead of winning (and instead of injecting some heart warming storylines) he lost everything! Now we have the death of Heather's character. If this is not ridiculous enough, I have just watched Thursday's episode (have been busy all week) and Heather's fiance Andrew has just been arrested. As an ex-copper and ex-CID, on what evidence has he been arrested? As i said from the outset EE is a soap and is fiction and entertainment but was realistic. Now it is becoming unbelievable, depressing, predictable and boring. BBC hang your head in shame.

Why does the writers have to kill Heather?! It's not fair! I like Heather. Why can't they give Heather a happy ending and not get killed of?! Ben killed Heather on purpose! Send that Joshua Pascue who played Ben Mitchell now packing and bring back Charlie Jones as a kind Ben Mitchell.

I feel sorry for both Jay and Andrew on this one. I hope jay goes to the police and let andrew off as everyone has a temper and everyone argues so he should'nt go to prison for just that reason.
