Episode discussion for week 8 - 12 August

Hasn't the whole door shutting thing so who could of saw them been done a few times not very inventive so boring the whole affair between max and Tanya again not very inventive can we hurry up and have a grate storyline that makes you not wanna miss the next episode please

Pearly Kings and Quuens, an Eastend knees up and pie and mash - yikes!



I understand that sometimes EE wants to inject humour into the episodes, but this cliche riddled nonsense left me cold. Reminded me of that time in the mid-90s were not much went on in EE and it lost its way a little.



EE script writers you are better than this. Let the comedy come from the characters not cringe-worthy exploits like this.

The door closing was done with Christian & Syed, lost for ideas? I`m not interested in Max/Tanya/Greg. The only episode I`m looking forward to is Vanessa losing it. Zoe has been wasted in EE. When do we get to see more of The Masoods? Have they gone on a long holiday? More of The Masoods please, the rest especially the Moons (exc Michael) are boring.

Just to add to my previous comment, I`d like to see more of Dot & Fatboy. When is Jean going to be given a decent storyline?

Think about the kids in the Max and Tanya mess?

This is a soap, which obviously.. everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Therefore this is more likely a love story I personally think Lauren and Abie are spoilt characters! Why should Max and Tanya stop their love for the sake of their children? Sounds selfish but it's not. Far from it actually. The kids should be happy that they can be one big happy family again. (aslong as they STAY loyal)

Even thow i dont think eastenders should of done the whole max and tanya affair storyline because it has been boring and not very creative at least tonights episode was half worth tuning in for unlike the last god knows how many months think it was stupid they had greg leave so early after finding out when vanessa burst in and confronted tanya that scene should of gone on longer for like a whole five minutess or so zoe was great in this scene its a shame they didnt do more with her character.why the scene where lauren and abbie tell max to go didnt the same thing happen when they found out about stacey it all seems abit the same to me THE EPISODE COULD OF BEEN ALOT BETTER

Really moving episode tonight. Made me cry when Max left. He will come back though, thankgoodness! :') You can tell because they didn't do the sad music :)

I'm confused... alot of spoilers said that max and tanya would be getting back together, but at the end of tonights episode (12th august) max drove off and tanya was just watching. does this mean the end of max and tanya? god i hope not, max and tanya are just one of those couples that always have to be together. like kat&alfie, dot&jim, stacey&bradley, max&tanya is the way it always has to be!



does anyone know if max and tanya actually are getting back together or not????? x

i think that thye should get rid of lauren she is nothing but gobby and think's she is better then everybody else...and she is way out of ryan's leauge and i cant believe he is leaving.. and i think max and tanya should of got back together they make the perfect couple x

I disagree, I think Max had his chance with Tanya and blew it, I mean who knows if they did get back together how long will it be till he cheats on her again. I think that Gregg should be with Tanya, because he is perfect for her and after the news that she could possibly have cancer, Gregg seems as if he would be there for her. Hopefully Gregg comes back after he hears about Tanya :( His holiday has to end eventually...

Can anyone tell me why Ricky doesn't work at the Arches anymore? I know he went to Dubai but why did he not go back to the Arches when he came back?

who's going to pay the mortgage/rent bills etc now there's just 2 young girls living in it? even if vanessa stays she doesn't appear to have a job.



also now that billy has that horrid little girl living with him he would get tax credits and housing benefit so why do they portray him as so poor all the time? they should show a positive side to the benefits system its not all about people sitting at home living off benefits its also about people being able to maintain a reasonable standard of living when falling on hard times.

well it was a good episode but i do't think max should get all he blame. also when you got kids its not all about your self. the kids are a bit spoiled because the adults all feel guilty bout messing them about how would you feel if they changed the mind like the wind it's a soap and not real but isn't supposed to portray real life . well feel sorry for Vanessa where is she going to go. it will end with Tanya moving back into maxes house because the other house belongs to Greg doesn't it .what about the salon Greg bought it for Tanya will he want his money back and who is Tanya going to tell first about the cancer

I really liked the power slap that Vanessa gave to Tanya (it reminded me of the slap that Tanya gave to Stacey), she really needed it. Tanya out of all people should know how it feels to be betrayed, its not that I don't want Tanya and Max back together, its just how Max really hurt Vanessa, why did he propose to her, okay to try to get Tanya but their were other ways

@ Laurenade - Why should Greg go back with Tanya after what she has done to him? He might be perfect for Tanya but what about him? It's not all about Tanya you know!! He deserves much better than her - she doesn't love him! He shouldn't have to be there for her with her cancer after what she did to him. It wouldn't be right for him to be there for her just because she is ill cos if she wasn't ill he wouldn't want her back, quite rightly. She's got her mum and sister and daughetrs. She's not alone anyway.



@ Natalee - I agree with you, Lauren is annoying! She is so out of order blaming Max but acting as if Tanya is innocent - it takes two. Nobody forced her to go with Max and they'd ended it on Tuesday's episode then Tanya came back to Max saying that she can't stay away because she loves him so much. And Max would support her through her cancer, he really loves her. I think he's wised up now. I really think this is it, he won't cheat on her again. I feel sorry for Max and Abi too cos she didn't really want Max to go - you could see that she didn't want him to go.

Well I loved Friday night's episode, I loved the way Vanessa totally lost it with Max, a woman scorned is clearly not a force to be trifled with- especially if it's Vanessa! It's a great shame that Max has done one... or has he???? If he has then maybe that shows Max and Tanya can't be together, even though there'll always be some love there... maybe it's just too late for them? She did after all bury Max alive....

Must admit, I felt sorry for Abby and Lauren.

I Loved Monday's Eastenders :D:D:D It was Lovely Having all the Traditional Cockney things, The Pearly Kings and Queens, Cockney Grub, Rhyming Slang, Knees up Mother Brown, Doing the Lambeth Walk :D:D:D And was Great to See Big Mo!!! :D She's a Well Funny Character, hope to see more of her soon :D

I am so glad Max is out for a while, as he is unable to pick his feet up and scrapes them on the ground. It is soooo irritating. Doesn't anyone else notice this? I wish he would leave for good, or learn to pick up his feet.

@Ofcourse, I agree with you, I do think Max has learned from his mistakes, and if him and Tanya did get back togther, I do honestly think he would be there for her when she tells him she's got cancer, coz anyone with eyes can see how much he loves her, and you can tell she feels the same about him.



@Ishtiab Khan - Now that you mention it, the way Vanessa slapped Tanya was the exact same way Tanya slapped Stacey!!



I hope Max isn't gone for good, he's one of my all time favourtite characters (after Tanya, she's just amazing :D) and him and Tanya really need to get back together xx :D :D :D

I felt sorry for max and greg. Max had blew the chance with tanya x but greg did more than max would do for the kids x :) i would have perfered tanya staying with greg because max had vaneesa unless he didnt say anything about leaving her and tanya had some1 to
