It is going to be something like 'Bye Jack' or 'You have to let me go Jack' or telling Roxy 'Take care of Jack'.

Can't wait for tonight's episode, it is going to be so dramatic. Will miss you Ronnie Branning a.k.a Samantha Womack, wish you the best of luck in the future

  • Comment number 18.

what ronnie did was terrible, but somehow i dont think she needed to go to prison for 3 yrs, she needs phyciatric help, even kat didnt want her to go down in the end, i believe she is leaving eastends, i will be sorry to see such a fine actress leave the show and I for one will miss her

  • Comment number 19.

I cried at the end of this episode, I was really touched throughout eastenders through the character of Ronnie Branning. However I felt that three years was a bit harsh and feel that there are actually genuinely twisted people out there, she should have not been let off with it but they could have been a bit more lenient with her. I will miss Ronnie and hope she comes back!

  • Comment number 20.

I say bring ronnie back in 3 years great tv.

  • Comment number 21.

her last line was "mitchell sisters together forever, i love you" it was sad u got a rock solid heart if u didnt feel sad

  • Comment number 22.

    I was crying, so sad!

  • Comment number 23.

Thank god that story's finished. the producers no how to drag it out!!

  • Comment number 24.

Ronnie has been such a good actress from the start to end, she will be truely missed from tonights episode ive noticed its made alot of people upset and me personally i think eastenders could of made the story line much better by keeping her in the soap shes been through alot, best of luck in the future samantha womack.

  • Comment number 25.

Eastenders absolutely brilliant, ronnie brilliant acting had me in tears, having lost a baby years ago could empathise with both ronnie and cat brilliant best ever episode. well done im sure all who watched would have been in tears.

  • Comment number 26.

really want that dress, where is it from?

  • Comment number 27.

Awww my god I was in tears especially when Kat jumped up and forgave Ronnie Well done to all involved it was great xxx

  • Comment number 29.

OMG!!! Ronnie's left the square, i had a tear in my eye when she got three years in prison, especially when she looked at the locket with Danielle's picture as that was teh turning point of her bad luck. I didn't think she should of got sentenced, they hsould of let her off or ran away, Stacey got away with murder, why couldn't she get away with this, Kat forgave her at the end which I think was the best bit of the episode and when she said they were the same

  • Comment number 30.

    Oh my God

I cant believe Ronnie has 3 years

But at least Kat has Forgiven her.

I don't understand, what is going to happen to Jack?!

He is going to be all o is own.

    I hate Michael The Liar!!!!

    I'm Gonna MISS YOU RONNIE'xx

  • Comment number 31.

aww so glad kat forgive her and she can fianly start put pass behind her. but want happen to jack and michael?? PS wpuld love know where ronnie dress came from it was lovely

  • Comment number 32.

What a powerful episode tonight it was excellently acted by all those involved in the Ronnie exit storyline, Samantha Womack as usual did incredible acting even I though I am sad that she has decided to leave I wish her all the best and hope to see her back in Albert Square soon. I hope that there is some good storylines for Roxy and Jack coming up and a good storyline for Denise since she hasn't had anything since the Lucas reveal.

  • Comment number 33.

I love Ronnie she is well my second favourite Whitney first for obvious Reason's she is a great actress and has had some really poweful storyline's over the Year's with Danielle's Death to The rape confession With Archie Mitchell her dad who abused her from the age of 13, till of course losing two babie's already to add to her misery three when losing Owen Turner's baby after Dad Archie pushed her and losing Baby Jame's after to Cot Death in a moment of grief which resorted in her taking baby Tommy, she is a fantasic Character and will be a great loss to the show as a whole and me as a Big Eastender's and Ronnie Branning and Samantha Womack fan! Good luck want to go and see her in South Parfic Now!

  • Comment number 34.

Such a lovely ending to a difficult story. Absolutely loved Ronnie and Kat coming to terms with the situation at the end, and I'm glad Ronnie faced up to things - she'll be better for it in the end. Very well written. She'll be out in a year and a half ;)! x

  • Comment number 35.

I am literally going to stop watching if Jack dosent stick by his wife! He better wait 3 years. I hope she discovers shes pregnant while shes in jail. She should have some peace in jail and when shes realised, she should back with her husband and new child! What Kat wrote in her statement was so over-reacting! She clearly didnt laugh or smile once with tommy as her own! Well, i wish Sam all the best for the future X But i beg for her to come back!

  • Comment number 36.

Brilliant episode tonight (Thurs 7th July). Well done to all involved. Michael is scarily convincing. Can't we just have Ronnie and Jack as a nice, ongoing couple in the soap, instead of writing them off like so many other people in Eastenders!? Give us a happy storyline with the pair of them & their new baby! Let Eastenders make us smile for a change ;P

  • Comment number 37.

i thought this was upsetting abs at the end when ron and rox said goodbye it was just upsetting im just hoping that someday ronnie will return x

  • Comment number 38.

I really thought it was the right way to let her go, but I really feel sorry for Jack, what is he going to do now without Ronnie.

  • Comment number 39.

I'm so glad Kat forgave Ronnie, it will be the closure she needs to move on now. An I'm happy that Ronnie and Roxy made up at the end.

    But what about the future?

I think Jack will receive divorce papers from Ronnie while she's in prison and he will have an affair with Janine. Max and Tanya will get back together and Greg will turn into a nutter, like Lucas was and want revenge on them both.

  • Comment number 40.

I think getting Kat to change her mind at the very end was a smart but cheap move on the writers part. Of course they didn't want the audience to hold a grudge against Kat (too late) so they had to make her suddenly come around. Which to me...was just annoying. It was last minute and annoying and it made me want to hit her like she did Ronnie. She must've pictured her son in 3years time in comparison to the growth of Ronnie's nothingness.

I also think Roxy was annoying. I was mad she called Ronnie a coward. She's never been a very loyal sister though.

Nice that EE managed to make Ronnie go to prison for her birthday. Way to go there.

I also thought the smile at the end was the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. A smile really? Sure, we were meant to be appeased by that...some people I guess needed that smile to see that she was pleased to be paying for her 'sin' and so that the viewer could forgive as well. BUT...I would've been much more pleased with her just looking up at the ceiling and accepting yet another miserable situation.

EE did more than kill an imaginary baby...they really tore Kat/Ronnie fans apart because you couldn't be on both sides. Which is lame because it was nice liking the two characters and not having to choose between them. They could've been a cool pair of feisty friends...but whatever.

Aside from bitterness because Ronnie's gone...the episode was good....but I think I liked it because it was focused on Ronnie...something that won't happen anymore...*sigh*

Hurry up and convince Sam to come back.

  • Comment number 41.

Well done eastenders, one of your best episodes ever.Just think the courts may have dealt with the situation slightly different maybe?

It wont be the same with one of the mitchell sisters gone, sam played a brilliant character, a great actress, who i for one, would love to see make a comeback.

  • Comment number 42.

what an episode so sad gonna miss ronnie tremendously my favourite character. Samantha Womack what a great actress

  • Comment number 43.

The calamitous ending for the character Ronnie Mitchell, reflects a gradual deterioration in the overall program content of Eastenders. When I first came over I used to think this was great and I always tried to never miss an episode. Now its getting to be a no brainer at every turn.

Samantha Womack was an outstanding personality in the soap and should be grievously missed. Had that farcical situation been a genuine trial stateside, I doubt a DA would even have prosecuted! Opting instead for Ronnie to a cop a plea for counselling because any jury worthy of the name would have exonerated her on the grounds of temporary insanity.

Additionally, material witnesses and or persons of interest have already collapsed the case a few times over by attempting to pervert the course of justice, I refer principally to the newly added psychotic character Michael Moon.

This is unfortunate, Stacey Slater went at Christmas, now Ronnie, what is the next deranged catastrophe? This show was GREAT, please bring it back!!

  • Comment number 44.

well i don't agree with rainfall50 [one of the greatest episodes ever] far from it if you ask me not good enough to put on for an hour special. me and my sister was talking about it in the car this morning she thought it was crap I wouldn't say it was that bad maybe 5/10 they could of added the court scene a bit earlier in the episode and and kept going back to it every couple scenes to build the suspense.I didn't really agree with Kat forgiving Ronnie i think Kat would of wanted her to get as long as possible but when saying this to my sister she said but Kat comes across all tough and mouthy but shes a big softy underneath witch I had to agree with so maybe they did do right by making her forgive Ronnie.I'm glad the storyline is finished now hopefully some new and fresh ones will be to follow [ with completely different characters please] Ronnie was a grate character I think its probably good for the character to have a break I look forward to her return tho.Samantha Womack is one of the best actresses in Eastenders she pulls of the emotional scenes brilliantly she will be missed by all Eastenders fans including me

  • Comment number 45.

There were defiantly lots of emotional goodbyes in yesterday's episode. How do you think Jack will cope without Ronnie?

  • Comment number 46.

Last nights episode was very moving. But the spelling on the comments here has made me laugh, so I am feeling MUCH better now :)

  • Comment number 47.

This eppisode was so sad i was in tears. its nice that they didnt kill her off though because now there is always a place for samantha womack to come back which i hope she does as she is an amazing actress. i found ronnie and roxy's final good bye so upsetting especially when they looked at each other and said "mitchell sisters, together forever, i love you" and if that didnt choke you up even a little you have a heart of rock. Ronnie mitchell will be missed by all veiwers and as for jack and roxy, i think that with each others support and the support of their families they'll get through it.

  • Comment number 48.

i'm glad they gave her an OPEN exit, so she can come back in future when her time is up, and i think she will 100% come back, and i bet she will come out early and get her own back or something like that.

I was so scared they might kill her off or something, i thought she was going to kill herself at one point, was a good episode

  • Comment number 49.

what a fanstastic episode last night. It was by far some of the best screen writing aired for some time. I sincerly wish Samantha will return at the end of Ronnies sentance, as the door has been left open for her return. I know the story lines have been challening over the new year for her, but last night showed that she is a talented actress and i hope she will return to `enders to see kat! now that would be something to look forward to.

  • Comment number 50.

it made me cry. Personally i think they should make like a tab on the site where you can chat to the real Characters :) yh ppl turned against ronnie but noooooo i didnt i miss her i still feel like cryin :(

  • Comment number 51.

This episode made me cry and I think it's the best episode since Stacey's exit. Both her and Stacey are my two favourite all time characters and it's too sad that they're both gone! This entire episode was heartbreaking and I'm so sad that Ronnie got sentenced to 3 years. For me, this seems too much. It was incredibly emotional and Samantha Womack is such an amazing actress. I wish her all the best in the future. Ronnie will be very, very, very missed and I'm really hoping she comes back before the three years! When/if she does, please give her some happier storylines! And a baby! :)

  • Comment number 52.

i was soo upset to see ronnie go and it really made me cry when kat finally forgave her and started to try and get ronnie out i hope to see ronnie come back

  • Comment number 54.

Im glad they left it so that she could come back in later years! I did have tears in my eyes!

  • Comment number 55.

  • Comment number 58.

Awww Ronnie shouldn't of left in the end Kat forgave her and she should of been aloud to stay in Walford :( Will miss herrr

  • Comment number 59.

I was so sad to see this amazing character go.

Sam was absolutely fantastic. An amazing actress who will be missed by so many fans.

I hope Ronnie will return and hopefully have some happy storylines instead of so much tragedy.

  • Comment number 60.

I am very disappointed that Ronnie didn’t get a special Ronnie revealed programme. She is the most complex and amazing character played brilliantly by the gorgeous and talented Sam. She deserved a special programme. Stacey got one.

Hopefully Ronnie will come back. EE is not going to be the same without her.

Good Luck Sam! You are amazing!

  • Comment number 61.

I am so happy Kat finally forgave Ronnie! I was crying! Happy Ronnie and Roxy are friends again.

Both Jessie and Sam of are very talented actresses.

I am glad everyone finally knows what Michael is like!

Good luck to Sam in the future. Goodbye Ronnie Branning (Mitchell). x

  • Comment number 62.

I think that the writers should do this - for Ronnie to be pregnant now and to return to the sqaure in the spring 2012 (mothers day say) with a baby. if its a girl she should call her kathleen!!!! That would be nice!

  • Comment number 63.

I loved Thursday's episode Samantha Womak is a great actress I hope she does well in the future. But What about Janine's reaction to her inheritance? Charlie Brooks is my favourite actress and I'd like an on set with her please.

  • Comment number 64.

What a brilliant episode thursday was! Samantha Womack is an amazing actress and she deserves an award for her performance but shes never nominated which is never right.

Im upset that she got sent to prison but im glad that Kat forgave her,at least now Ronnie can live with herself,do her sentence and then hopefully come back to Walford.

  • Comment number 65.

im really upset wiv wat happened. i wish tht ronnie gts back in the square, wat will jack do without her? hopefully she'll cum cak x

  • Comment number 66.

I think the line Ronnie&Roxy said in sync with eachother couldn't be more perfect.

    "Mitchell Sisters, Together Forever"

    Couldn't stop cryin...xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • Comment number 67.

I felt sooo sad it was one of the most emotional episodes. I love Ronnie she's a great acctress and ill miss her a lot. I heard that pat's leaving ever good character is leaving :( Wish they'd all come back. Roxy and Ronnie are meant to be together as sisters its not going to be the same with only one sister. There is'nt gonna be the mitchel sisters anymore without Ronnie. I liked her exit though made me tearfull.

Wish her the best for the future... xxx

Mitchel sisters, ''together forever''. Never gonna forget that.

  • Comment number 68.

@Fearless1: I completely agree! Why did she not get a special Ronnie revealed programme? She's been involving with many of the huge storylines in the past four years - she deserved one! I would have loved to look back over her time on the square in more detail. :(

  • Comment number 69.

Terrific acting all round as usual on Friday's episode. One thing though - if Jack and Roxie love Ronnie so much why are they acting as if she is going to outer Mongolia? With prison visits, encouragement from them and psychiatric help they can stay in regular contact with her! They are acting as if they are never going to see her again. Let's face it, with good behaviour she will be out of prison in 18 months!

  • Comment number 70.

Also, please can we have Masood and Zainab back together again. Despite their bickering in the past they were one of the happiest families on the Square originally. The doctor needs to be exposed for the snake in the grass that he is. I hope their will be a future storyline to show him up. The Masoods were always my favourite family so please bring them back together!!

  • Comment number 71.

It was amazing - Sam is such an incredible actress and i cried so much! I hope she comes back soon. By the way to people asking about her dress I read somewhere that its from peacocks in the pear lowe section :D

  • Comment number 72.

i really started to hate her (ronnie not samantha) during the swap storyline but i was crying at the end when she said goodbye to roxy

maybe she will comeback like really tuff..

waiting for you too come back.

p.s i love fatboy and ryan

  • Comment number 73.

what was the music Jack played when he was at home alone, after Ronnie's trial

  • Comment number 74.

Hi guys. Seeing as there were 3 endings, and you could only choose one, any chance you can give us all a massive treat and upload the other two possible endings to the blog? Alot of viewers like to see these alternative endings to see what could have happened (but ultimately didn't).

Being catching up on iPlayer and I must say that Thursdays hour long episode ws amazing. Hopefully now Kat and Alfie can put all thi behind them now and move on and have some nice, happy storylines . Would love to see happy, smiley Kat and Alfie back on our screens soon

  • Comment number 75.

    Jack will miss her dearly

I hope Ronnie will back to EastEnders may next year

I really felt sorry for Ronnie.

I fancy Ronnie since her first appearance.

    I described Ronnie as:

    1 Sexy

    2 Attractive

    3 Beautiful

    4 Cute

    5 Lovely

I hope Jack will ruin Michael Moon's Life as a Revenge for what he did to Ronnie

Ronnie has been the very best character in EastEnders.

EastEnders will Never Be The Same Again without Ronnie.

Ronnie Does NOT deserve to go Prison.

I cried a lot when Ronnie was sent to prison for 3 year

It DOES NOT matter what She did to kat.

I Hated Michael Moon Since his first appearance, because I describe him as:

    1 Idiot

    2 Mental

    3 Coward

    4 manipulative

    5 Cheat

    6 Dirty

7 The Ladies Now hate him

    8 Disgusting

    9 Low Life

    10 Rude

    11 Horrible

12 he use women for SEX Not LOVE

13 NOT Respective to His Father

    14 Sick Man

    15 Demon

    16 EVIL

Michael Moon is MY WORST Enemy on Earth

Michael Moon is Exactly same as Archie Mitchell (Both ARE EVIL DEMONS)

I Won't rest until Michael Moon leaves EastEnders for Good.

  • Comment number 76.

I was so disappointed the scriptwriters had not thought about a realistic ending. For one, Ronnie would have been referred to a pyschiatrich instititution for her crime, considering she lost a child so young, they would have taken that into consideration for sure but seems the legal system has gone mad. Secondly, the episode was so sad but should have had a twist, ronnie should have left pregnant at least and leave the suspense of her coming back for Jack with her kid after her prison sentence is over. Sam Womack acted brilliantly and will be missed, it was all to strange, also being a mitchell, surely should Phil and Roxy not have sworn to get revenge on kat after for her not being totally honest about Ronis behaviour when she had the child??? I think Kat over acts and wears clothes that look dreadful on her, I dont think kat is the ideal mum and that should be shown as whether she had not had the baby taken, shes not what you think of when you think of mother? scriptwriters, please think about reality storylinies not ones that dont make sense.

  • Comment number 77.

Ronnie Mitchell, well, what can we say?

Started out promising and then we get the tawdry situation with Jack Branning "Will-they-won't-they?-oops-he's-done-my-sister!-won't-they-will-they" oh and then they do!

Schmuck that killed Moonlighting 30 years previously.

    Then we get Baby-gate.

    The most ill-conceived.

    Ill contrived.

    Banal.

And alledged storyline, I say storyline - Imagine a bath emptying of water, it swirls and swirls around the drain, you wait to hear the gurgle, knowing that that's the end - and what do we get?

One whole hour of Ronnie Mitchell/Branning falling on her sword, an episode which was as about as satisfying as having piles.

Surely the only people crying were the script writers, and that would be in joy that this extreamly boring storyline, and poor coupling had come to an end and they would no longer be faced with having yet another reason for Mr Wooden & Mrs Mono-Expression to row/break-up/scream/blame poor parenting/bond/get back together -ad nauseum - for another 4 years.

Cindy Beale was killed off having gone to prison.

    So -

    Dear Prison Death Fairy,

Ronnie Branning has been banged up.

    'nuff said

  • Comment number 78.

@Vonni. The song is "One day like this" by elbow. It was the song that was played at Jack and Ronnie's wedding.

Such a shame Ronnie and Jack were never allowed to be happy. I didn't like the baby swap as it just added more tragedy on Ronnie and also on Jack and Ronnie as a couple. Ronnie had had more than enough tragedy already.

I am glad Sam went out on a fantastic performance and has out acted Jessie each time they have been in scenes together.

I was glad that Ronnie got Peggy's theme, a very special theme for a very special character.

  • Comment number 79.

I miss her because shes my fave character and I hate Michael because he found out the Mitchell Sisters are attractive but he cant have both Mitchell sisters only 1.

  • Comment number 80.

glad she is gone, now to get rid of her obnoxious sister!!!

  • Comment number 81.

    sorry,never felt the ice queen could act,beautiful woman,just can't act, jessie,class A actress

  • Comment number 82.

Ronnie gets jailed but I don't want her to get jailed is she coming back after 3yrs because I asked my dad and he works for the cops he said that in real life it would be 3yrs.

  • Comment number 83.

I was so upset when she left!! Ronnie was my favourite character!! I didn't think she was the Ice-Queen she only acted like that because she has suffered so much pain in the past!! I loved Samantha Womack!!! I thought she was a brilliant actress, I had tears in my eyes when Ronnie was in her cell and the Eastenders tune started up you could just see the tears in her eyes when she looked up!! Love her so much!!♥ #SamSoldiers
