Mandy Salter is back!

I wonder if she will realise when she is back that Shirley is the same woman who played her mother back in the day!!!! :o)

After a struggle with her drug demons and the death of her boyfriend Aidan, she slowly tirns her life around and gets an education and becomes a psycriatic nurse and drug councellor?

Mandy will have used her wits to better herself and will come back as a property developer,with intentions of buying up some of the run down properties on the square, doing them up and selling them on at a fantastic profit!

She was big trouble in the 90s so I doubt the reception will be a warm 1 for her.



I think Mandy will clash with Bianca with her returning before the end of the year too.

wow what a blast this is from the squares past!!, i remeber mandy very well, and what a great character she was is well. shes gonna shake things up and upset a few residents includeing pat and bianca for sure. what out walford another witch is arrveing soon!!!.

OMG Mandy's back. I'd love to see scenes with her and Janine together, she is just as troublesome as janine, they both have had troublesome childhoods and have turned to prostitution (but in the form of clipping for Mandy). It would be great to see them as friends or enemies even.



It's funny that her mum was shirley, it would be wierd seeing them doing scenes together, just look like it was wierd seeing Shirley and Pat together, as when she was Mandy's mum she knew Pat as they both were prostitutes

Wow you guys have great memories! I love EE, but would never have remembered the actress who now plays Shirley, played Mandy's mum or that she used to "work" with Pat.

Maybe you need a new writer? This one has said that Mandy wasn't a force to be reckoned with when s/he clearly means that she WAS a force to be reckoned with. The BBC's standards have slipped.

With Mandy coming back and Cindy Beale joining Corrie, surely that must pave the way for Mehmet and Ali Osman to come back and take over the Cafe from Ian!!! What a way to challenge the opposition's storylines - a new minicab firm in Walford. Let Ozcabs give Craig Charles a run for his money!!

I am so glad to hear Mandy is returning. I loved her character, and wanted her to return for years. Its a shame Stacey isn't still around as those two would make a dangerous team.

Where has she been!? I think she has been to college, bagged herself a wealthy man and is returning with a mechanics qualification and enough cash to buy Mitchell Motors. I would also like to see her punch Ian... not that I am condoning violence, but nobody has hit Ian in a while.

I don't actully know who Mandy Salter is because I didn't watch Eastenders back then but I dont like the look of her; I may like her if she stirs things up a little.

Didn't Mandy have a bit with Ricky? If so, maybe she'll return with his kid in toe...!
