I wonder if Ian has ever considered he's the main reason that he has been married so many times and that at least one wife tried to kill him.



Nah... must be at the most his ''bad'' choice in women. Or maybe womankind is just evil and out to get honest, hard-working, supportive men like him.



I like Adam Woodyatt, but I'm started to really despise Ian.

Fist comment as well as first to comment! Well looks like another great week. Not sure why but I am glad Ronnie is back. I thought that she was going to leave though? Jack needs Ronnie. Ian and Jane just crack me up...lol

I want Syed and Christian to get married!

Looks like another great week, although ronnie really annoys me, I'm glad that she is back so that Kat can give her a good verbal beating!!

I hate Ian and I want him to go, not Jane....grrrr, Ian should go to therapy, then maybe will he realize that he is the reason, why all of his wives run away screaming!!

I hope Chryed pass the test they would be amazing parents and Ronnie and kat cant wait! Hannah xx

gawd im really starting to dislike phil a lot. i cant believe he puts the blame on abi. i hope theres some sort of storyline where he wants to change otherwise this is just stupid

So glad Ronnie's back! Although Kat has the right to question her, I hope Ronnie really tells her what it's like to lose three children. I hope she gets the help she needs as she's a great character.

I'm really happy that Ronnie's coming back. And I hope that she and Jack can work it out. I could honestly write a whole essay as to why I support Ronnie. I'm looking forward to the Kat and Ronnie showdown..but at the same time I'm not. I feel like crying what Ronnie's getting stick, even though she probably deserves it. I would do the same if I were in Kat's shoes.



Jack needs Ronnie. No matter how he's denying it now, he loves her and needs her, in spite of everything she did. And I loved last night's episode when he said 'Ronnie's worth ten of every other woman". It's the first time in a long time I've really appreciated what he's said.



But moving on, Christian and Syed adopting will be so cute! They'll make such great parents. I wouldn't mind being adopted by them, hehe.



As for Ian and Jane...Jane has given Ian so many chances, so I'm glad they're getting divorced. And it's also odd that Ian's trying to make her feel jealous and make things hard for her, when it's his own fault they're getting a divorce in the first place!

YAY i lov ronnie shes may favourite charecter and im so upset shes leaving but im happy to see her back in the squre :)

i dnt fink kat can forgive ronnie but it looks like ronnie really is sorry so i would forgive her i hope they get along............

the ian and jane story line is kind of boring i would love to see masood leave zainab for jane and then zainab falls back in love with yusef!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and i just hope jack forgives ronnie but i have a feeling there love wont last any longer............... GREAT WEEK OVERALL!!!!!!!! :D

Everything seems interesting except for the Jack & Ronnie scenes. Wish Kirkwood would Axe Jack!

Strangely glad to see Ronnie back. Could the unexpected visitor at Tommy's Christening be the appearance of Ronnie? Ian is so bloody annoying!

Didn't Syed wife leave the show last year with a positive pregnancy test - wonder when that is going to crop up as the next chapter in Syed and Christians life??

I am so glad Ronnie is back. She is such an endearing character. EE is not the same without her.

I am not looking forward to Kat and Ronnie's showdown. Kat has every right to have a go at Ronnie, but it is very uncomfortable as a viewer to see this character go through so much. Ronnie is the bereaved mother in all this who has lost so much and she is mentally unwell.



I hope Jack stands by Ronnie. She has been through so much and the last thing she needs is for people to turn their back on her. Jack and Ronnie love each other so much and they need each other. They need to grieve for their little boy together.

I hope Ronnie’s exit is not going to be prison or death. I would like to see her get the help she needs with her family and her husband standing by her. And hopefully we will see her back one day.



She is so tortured and tragic, it’s heartbreaking.

Why is veryone making it seem that Ronnie is an evil person. Sorry but she's not, I know she snatched Kat's baby, but she wasn't in her senses, she had lost Danielle had a miscarriage and then James died. She was going to take the baby back on teh same day she snatched, but Jack came and thought she had James, she just didn't want to disappoint Jakc, everything just went out of control. Kat is my favourate character since she first came in sep 2000, but looking thorugh Ronnie's perspective, I can actually see why she did everything. Don't tell me that none of you guys haven't done anything that you regret, so can you please stop harassing the woman



I want Ronnie to tell Kat why she did everything, I don't want Kat necessarily to foragave her, but understand why she did it.

im so glad that ronnie is back . i wish she can have some happy time cuz she saw very bad days in the past .

Glad that Ronnie's back. Even though I have a feeling it's just a tease before she leaves us again. I hate that Sam is going. I hate also that she's going without having won any awards. I think she's amazing.



I don't understand how people can be so insensitive to Ronnie's case. If she took the baby and was prancing around the park with him and acting like nothing was wrong...then we could all hate her. But she never wanted what happened to happen.



And I think it's so unfair that Kat is like princess of Walford. She used to be my favorite but now she annoys me because she's spoiled. Think about it...everyone is in a constant state of pursuit for happiness and holding their life together. Kat had one big problem a long time ago...she got to keep and live with her baby...who eventually accepted her, she had loving parents, and she dated a doctor, and a rich guy, and then married the one she loved...and despite everything she puts him through he keeps following her around like a puppy. He's never cheated on her and has put up with her sleeping with other men more than once and is willing to raise a baby not fathered by him (as far as we know). Kat is the only one on the square it seems that everything works out for. I can't think of one other person on the square as lucky as Kat...

The point of Ronnie's character was that she was supposed to be a tragic heroine. But the only fulfilled part of that is TRAGIC. Heroism, suggests she'll conquer and overcome...but all she's been is a victim of relentless troubles. And then people complain and say Sam is a poor actress because she's mopey...Sam is very versatile. It's Ronnie that they've beaten down to a flat character. Ronnie and Sam have so much potential. It's a shame. I really hope she comes back.

I hope nothing bad happens at the christening and i am glad to see that Ronnie is back in Walford. I don't want her to leave! I think that they should all put everything behind them so it is back to the way it used to be with Ronnie ans Kat as friends and Jack and Ronnie as husband and wife :) xxxxxxxxxxxxx

I agree with Monte J - EE writers seriously need to give Sam something to work with rather than constant nervous breakdowns!! And Kat really is a stroppy cow - no matter what way the wind blows.

And when will they give poor Denise a decent fella??? Now there's a tragic heroine! Including her back-story, she's had a drug addict, an abusive alcoholic, Kevin - who died, married the drug addict who turned out to be a psycho reverend murderer AND NOW she's will this sly doctor who is only out to make her best-friend jealous!!! And through it all she gets up, dusts off and keeps going. That's true female strength, but I really wish EE writers would just allow her some peace and happiness.....

personally i think people are taking eastenders to seriously ronnie is an actor nothiing more nothing less she acts what she is being paid to on the script ronnie is different to samantha i woud appreciate it if people would stop being so disrespectful against them x im loving the storie lines and expect to see som dramatic performances from ronnie and kat as they are outstanding actors i agree with bellaberri and monte j ronnie needs something other then breakdowns and drama that poor girl needs some happiness and love people say the viewers always have a say but loads of people have constantly been saying how u could improve but nothing has happened and btw mercy and fatboy i luv them xxx great job ee writers :P

Be careful Karla! lol. I've noticed as soon as you pick a favorite the writers hit a destruct button. I had favorites...Stacey Slater, Whitney, Ronnie...I refuse to say I love little Tiff because I don't want to jinx the baby. lol. But yeah, I really like Fatboy and Mercy too. They're a nice little uplifting bit inserted between all the downers.

Ian Beale is played brilliantly by Adam Woodyatt. I'm glad Ian got his comuppence and is a money grabbing sad man who needs to look at the reasons why he does things rather than just carry on being manupulated by Joseph.

@ Anachronism - Ian's first wife, Cindi, who tried to kill him, was a gold digger and she had cheated on him twice. She was horrible to him and I'd say that it was this experience that changed him and made him distrust women. Ian used to be a nice guy.



@ BellaBerri - Denise has got a good attitude, she does indeed dust herself off and keep going - that's true female strength you say, well many men are like that too. Many have bad experiences with women but keep dusting off and carrying on. And, but not all women are like that. There are women who develop a bad attitude towards men after just one or two bad experiences.

Roxy to Ronnie "What does Michael know about family, he got his cousin's wife pregnant" Erm excuse me Roxy - you got pregnant by your sister's boyfriend!



@ MonteJ - I totally agree with you about Kat. I don't understand why she is so loved. The way she treats Alfie is terrible. If it was the other way around I bet people would not like Alfie! It seems that women can be like Kat and still be adored by viewers but if she had been a man viewers would not like!

To Ofcourse, the reason why Kat is so loved is because she is a great actress and because of the storylines the character has. Also if your saying if Kat had been a man viewers would not like her how would you know, is it because she's violent. If thats the case then there are loads of male characters that are violent and aggressive such as phil, grant, dennis but viewers love these characters.

@ Ishtiab Khan - no it is not because of violence - I don't think Kat is violent do you? It is mainly because of the way she treats Alfie, who is just lovely. Alfie is always good to her. She has cheated on Alfie more than once and has a baby with Alfie's cousin! I know that Jack has cheated on Ronnie and has a child with Ronnie's sister but he's not as loved as Kat. Kat's attitude towards Michael is horrible - Jack doesn't treat Roxy like that. I know many male characters have cheated - in fact most characters have cheated (!!) but people don't love them like they love Kat. It's like MontJ said, Kat is like the princess of Walford. Personally I am not a Kat fan at all - I don't like her attitude towards a lot of things.

@ Linda - who is Joseph, who manipulates Ian??

What are you trying to say that Kat was very lucky that she was raped by her uncle and got to keep her baby? Excuse that isn’t lucky at all. What do you mean she’s like the princess of Walford, just because she lost her baby and got him back again, doesn’t make her a princess. Yeah she dated a doctor (Anthony Trueman) who fell for her daughter and then we she disappeared, he fell for Kat again. Oh yeah she dated a rich guy (Andy Hunter) he really knew how to keep her happy, not. Yeah she married the one she loved and cheated on him, who with, erm the rich guy who she thought was going to kill the one she loved. Yeah she cheated on him again with another bloke but the reason she did it was because Alfie was not over her cheating the rich guy and made her feel like a dirty slapper like other people think of her.

Oh yeah, And the one who loved her, cheated on her anyway with her sister (little Moe), yeah I know she went with her when Kat left him, but when she came back he was dating both of them at the same time. Yeah you’re talking about Kat getting pregnant with another man, that wasn’t entirely her fault, Alfie was in prison she had no one to turn to and Michael, who wouldn’t mind doing it with his cousin’s wife



Moving on to Ronnie she is just as messed up as Kat, she isn’t no angel. Let me say one thing she did get married to the one she loved, but he cheated on her several times with Ronnie’s sister, his ex-wife, and Ronnie’s cousin. Okay she forgave him for the affairs, but he got her sister and cousin pregnant. Yeah I know she got raped by her dad, Kat got raped by her uncle. The only difference was that her daughter and son died but Kat’s didn’t, she was unlucky, this doesn’t make Kat a princess and really lucky, does it now.

that look at both of their situations before judging them.



Let me see why Kat’s attitude towards Michael horrible, he’s a manipulative and sly character, you’ll see in the future Michael’s true colours. In fact there is a storyline where he will control Roxy just the way Archie did. And there are a few characters that have cheated and are loved as Kat such as her cousin Stacey Slater. And there are male characters that have cheated and are loved such as Grant Mitchell, Alfie Moon. Max and Jack are still loved, at one point you might hate them for cheating, but then you start loving the character
