I'm sure Andy will get over it with the right encouragement. I agree with you on Christian and Syed although I feel that if their happy with their wee lives then let them get on with it it's not like their going to harm anyone, espesially their neighbours.

I'm hearing that Ryan's a tad unsettled and wants to play a bigger part. The lad just needs to work hard and he'll come good.

He might get his chance with Ian being out of the picture for a couple of weeks. Can't blame the lad for wanting more action though. I think he has the potential to shine if given a set piece all to himself, but to be fair there are a few bigger stars in the cast that are ahead of him at the moment.

I think the cast is to small, we should open up to 18 maybe, bit more competition, and have a go at the uglies, what you think Fever?

SD, no doubt thats what the viewers want, it's all down to the dosh though apparently. The square could do with some new faces to liven it up.

Problem is a lot of the supporting cast rely on the main two's presence and aren't willing to spare the limelight for some upcomers.

I think it would be great to have Shel back on the show. The sisters have been in a league of their own for too long now and it would be good to get them split up. Your hearts have got to be in it for it to work, though.

And it's quite sad that the "main two" just happen to be Westenders!

Shel, the BBC 2 idea is dead in the water but looks like we'll be pushed back on BBC1 for a while. I was actually gearing up for a 15 min BBC2 spin off away from the poor scheduling on BBC1 with its uneven cast, but looks like it'll be business as usual once again.

Am i the only one who's upset at all these people who claim to be Eastenders despite only qualifying due to the Grandparent rule? I think its beyond a joke to be frank. Did they really grow up dreaming of being Eastenders? No, and it was only when they weren't good enough for Corrie that they even took notice of Eastenders.

I'm really happy to see that Heather survives. Janine is really getting on my nerves and poor Whitney is getting caught up in her sick,little world but who is that wierd guy, Rob. It's all happening. Pa Broon and his move north is throwing up more plot twists that the Kat and Alfie saga, the sheep have questions to answer if they want to remain in the square... although i do hear their plans for a new house are going ahead, so they could be off anyway.

Its going to be interesting to see the events unfold in the upcoming weeks, their new gaff could be a huge mistake. I know you guys are already usually against change what with that extension to Rodney's place which I infer will be a huge success in up-coming episodes and people will accept it as much as a millenium dome in a credits picture. However, to jump ship completely could be old 'Arry Brown and co's detatchment from the square and ultimatley our screens.

Well its one thing building a new gaff for some nothern characters to move into but do the paying public want it? The square is perfect where it is just a short walk from the centre.

Shel - I reckon he will now be one of the main characters playing a major part in every episode.



I wonder if Andy will make an appearance at the start of the next show or just a cameo towards the end. If he does only pop up at the end I would like to see a dazzling performace from little David right from the start, he certainly does raise the Temp when he is on screen.

I love EASTENDERS!!! i feel the next few episodes are going to be very important for the cast, and may well define the whole series. I will be watching on i-player, so no spoilers please.

Yes the next few episodes are important but if the cast gets through them with decent ratings hopefully they will cement their place early and it will take the pressure off going into the bigger story lines.

I remember Rob, or Robbie as he was better known. Average performer but liked a fling, and was apparently popular in some parts of the Eastend for 'that' tackle.



Left Eastenders a couple of years ago for some gig in the Midlands, I believe.

Who could forget Robbie and his tackle. Thats what makes the show such a great watch.

My wife still reminices about Robbies legendary 'tackle', although she still claims that she loved him for his glorious heart.

I thought Robbie's 'tackle' would've made him quite popular in the Gretna area, but apparently that's not the case.

We've seen a few Fowlers over the years - many a flowing scene was interupted up by the masterly timing of a Fowler. My own personal favourites were Bruno and Salvatori Fowler. Craftsmen at work. Any others come to mind?

There have been some fantastic episodes - the New Year omnibus for instance a few years ago with the late late double surprise ending, almost when the credits were rolling!

Looking forward to tin episode where they hold the Europa League final between Walford Bubblejet FC and Glasgow Rangers at the Olympic Stadium - Albert Square is swimming with piss by half 8 and the programme ends with a revelation that they actually ARE ra peepuhl.

I've seen the trailer for this one. The whole thing would have gone off without a hitch if Dot Cotton hadn't unplugged the telly in the Vic. They should have had a big screen at each end of the bar. Brought it on themselves - management to blame.

i am upset at the story line for heather,i can honestly say if she dies i will never watch another episode of the show .i feel she has been tortured enough and deserves some compashion .

Wasn't surprised that they wrote the ginger one out of the story. I mean, come on, his tantrums were getting boring. I heard a rumour that the fat one had a contract for another couple of years, but not sure how they can being him back now he's on a foreign soap. Slow build up with no pay off/end result was getting a bit tiresome. Things are looking much more interesting without the pair.

I see Kats twin brother has got back into the business. A spin off show set up north on BBC2. With an orange coupon like that I'd have thought he'd be wanting back on prime time.

Marcz24 - Albert Square is actually just a set in Elstree Studios in Hertfordshire, which is outside of London. Apparently the houses don't really exist - the fronts of them are made from wood - disappointing I know! It looks like a square in Hackney in East London, called Fester Square, but it isn't filmed there. So now you know!

No It is definitley Fester Road not Square. There is lots of empty houses, about 109 or 110 in a row.

I hear on the grapevine that they've been hired as extras playing council painters. They make a first appearance carrying tins of pink paint, asking where the nearest bus shelter is.

Also, in a future plot, Christian returns from his holiday in Cyprus to stay at Kimberley's, attracted no doubt by the big breakfasts on offer. He is also looking to get his old stricking job back.
