wow what a great week looks action packed thanks enders for again a great year full of Drama with the live episode, Billie jacksons return, jack branings shotting and ronnies rape trauma thankx again for great quality acting and fantasic storylines! lookin good for 2011!

I hope that Becca gets whats coming to her. She's pure evil. I want Jean to tell Stacy what is going on. Max and Stacy should also get togrther he would look after her and baby Lily. I don't think that Ryan and Stacy are a good match. Besides Janniene would make thier lives hell. I don't want Stacy to die in the fire as she is such a good character in the show, and a great actress. Please don't let baby Lily die either thats far to sad. Why not let Becca die in the Vic fire?

there are some really good story lines comeing in eastenders i can not wait like when ryan and jainie take lily eastenders is the best keep up the good work

(this is wat happens trust me)Stunned by Stacey's confession that she killed Archie, Peggy demands that she get out of the pub and threatens to go to the police. Stacey pleads with her not to do so as she wants to be around for Lily. Stacey then tells Ryan that she needs to speak to him urgently and ushers him into the ladies' toilets, where she attempts to tell him the truth about Bradley. However, they are interrupted by Pat, who thinks Stacey is trying to get her claws into Ryan. Desperate to tell Ryan the truth, Stacey tries to go after him, but she is slapped by Pat, who reminds her that Ryan is now family. Stacey cries a desperate outpouring of grief as Ryan and Janine enjoy their special day.





Meanwhile, a desperate Phil urges Billy to let him leave the boarded-up room in order to get more drugs. He attempts to break free, but Billy quickly blocks him. Angry and frustrated, Phil picks up the crowbar which Billy left in the room and smashes through the door demanding money, before rushing downstairs. Peggy, who was about to call the police to tell them about Stacey, catches sight of Phil and they end up in an intense argument in the hallway. The tension between them explodes and Phil smashes bottles as he dares Peggy to deny that she loves the pub more than him.





When his mother doesn't respond, Phil threatens to burn down the pub. Peggy calls his bluff, but Phil strikes a match and throws it to the floor. The flames spread as Peggy desperately grabs the extinguisher, but Phil takes it and throws it to the ground. Peggy screams out for help, wanting to extinguish the flames, but everyone realises that it's a lost cause and desperately tries to evacuate The Vic. Amid all the commotion, Peggy attempts to stay behind to save the pub, but Roxy, Pat and Billy force her outside.



Peggy soon realises that Phil is nowhere to be seen. Desperate for money, he is still inside, trying to smash open the till. As he makes his exit with the money, the wooden bar above comes crashing down, trapping him on the floor amid the flames. Peggy, Billy, Max and Ricky try desperately to get back into The Vic via the cellar door, but they fail miserably.





Meanwhile, Stacey exits the ladies' toilets, unaware of what has happened, and finds herself surrounded by flames. Desperate to save Lily, Stacey battles her way through the flames and up the stairs. She grabs Lily, shielding her from the fire, but as she heads for the window, she realises they are boarded up. Scared for her life, Stacey picks up the crowbar and smashes the window, sending glass flying below. Soon afterwards, Janine, Bianca and Ryan look up to see Stacey and Lily trapped upstairs. Ryan climbs a ladder and Stacey hands him Lily, but will she escape to safety herself?



Desperate to save her son, Peggy rushes back inside The Vic. Billy follows behind Peggy, who can see Phil trapped on the floor through the flames. Billy and Peggy manage to free Phil, but as they struggle to pull him away from the fire, the glass inside starts to explode. Peggy puts her life on the line as she tries to drag her son an inch at a time across the burning floor, but will any of them make it out alive? Or will their love of the Queen Vic put an end to the Mitchell family as we

Phil, Stacey and baby Lily are trapped in the burning Vic. Will any of them get out alive?



After Stacey reveals to Peggy that she killed Archie, Peggy attempts to phone the police while Stacey begs her not to for Lily. Stacey runs downstairs and drags Ryan to the ladies' toilets to tell him that he is the father of Lily but Pat gets the wrong idea and thinks that Stacey is trying to seduce him. Pat slaps Stacey, leaving her in tears. Meanwhile, while Peggy is phoning the police, Phil comes into the Vic and they end up in an intense argument in the hallway. The tension between them explodes and Phil smashes bottles as he dares Peggy to deny that she loves the pub more than him. When she doesn't respond Phil says that he will burn down the pub. Phil on the other hand decides to steal money from the tills in order to buy more drugs but this plan goes awfully wrong after he collapses. Stacey manages to find Lily and keep her sheltered. As she tries to open the windows she realises that they are boarded up. Desperate to escape, she grabs a crowbar and smashes a window. Ryan, Bianca and Janine look up to notice that Stacey and Lily still trapped inside. Ryan manages to get hold of a ladder and is able to free Lily. But Stacey is still trapped inside! Peggy on the other hand is still trying to save Phil from the building. Will Peggy risk her own life to save Phil? Does everyone find out about Stacey's big secret? And will Phil and Stacey both get out alive?



Stacey definitely won't die in the fire since it has been confirmed that she is staying in EastEnders until 2011.

i think peggy survives as everyone seems to be getting on with their lives the week after and if she'd died they'd all be distraught/grieving espicially phil.

well peggy is leaving anywayy!

We all know that Lacey Turner is leaving but I hope her charcter doesn`t die. I don`t want baby Lily to die either. I would have wanted Stacey to get together with Ryan but it would be too soon & as I said she`s leaving anyway.I guess with Stacey there is nowhere for the character to go now but I hope it`s a happy ending for her, Lily & Jean.



I`ve said in another post that I don`t want Ryan & Janine to marry. She has done so many bad things & has never been brought to justice so she doesn`t deserve happiness. It gives out a bad message that a character can get away with murdering her husband & ripping people off. Janine will never change,I really can`t see this where this character can go now as any storylines would be going over old ground. It`s time she was written out.



I`m looking foward to the Jane & Ian storyline but was surprised this week that she has to ask Ian if she can borrow his card to get money out, surely they`d have a joint account or would have her own bank account. This seems a really out of date idea having a woman nowadays having to ask her husband for money. Jane is too strong a charcter to be a doormat.

Did anyone notice when peggy nailed the wood to the door so phil couldn't get out!!! ....the door doesnt open outwards... it opens inwards, so phil can still get out of the room!!!

So the hen night had a male stripper, as usual, dancing with the women, yet the stag night, as usual, had no female stripper plus Ryan himself stripped. Why does EE pretty much always have strippers for the hen nights yet not for the stag nights? What kind of pathetic political correctness is this?



Also, if there had been a female stripper or if a load of the guys had gone to a club with a pole dancer for Ryan's stag do, and if Charlie had been one of the guys there, bet he wouldn't have cheered, unlike Pat and Carol, because someone of Charlie's age would be regarded as a dirty old man if he did that but it's ok to have Pat dancing with a young male stripper - such sexist double standards.
