At first, when Lucas went to see the body of Denise's I thought it was someone else... I guess I was wrong. Its sad that Denise has died. She was a good character!

There should be like a little twist, where they aren't actually burying Denise. Like she could of survived in the water. Could be like burying someone else's body. And then later on in the show Denise comes back, etc. Pro twist. :D

lucas has got away with murder yet again n does anyone remember him killing sugar the dog he drowned her in the canal n the diving police found denises body but they didnt find sugars but its only a matter of time until lucas is locked up for good the next person that he might kill next is chelsea or libby or even patrick if hes capabale of killing his own wife then hes capable of killing anyone

I don't think she's actually dead (Denise, that is) because we didn't see her body... he might hav her locked up somewhere... I think she might walk in in the middle of the funeral or something.



But think about it... Lucas went into the viewing room alone,, so he could have identified the body even if it was her.



And I never heard anything about her leaving... so...watch this space!

Please, I would like to register the displeasure of the Christians to the role play by Lucas. It portrays Pastors as murderers, adultrers and liars. It shows Pastors and christains are hypocrates. Please, lets respect and fear God.

Lucas breakdown and confess his guilt? After what he has done that would be a piece of cake for him. But Lucas is beyond confessing, he is way in to deep! He is a serial killer who won't or can't stop. Denise was his fourth victim, yes his fourth, we must not forget poor Sugar, the dog. Lucas is a cold calculated man; he said he loves Denise but kills her as soon as a matter of opinion about baptism occurs. That is not love, that is wanting to be in control, like a puppetmaster who pulls the strings of his marionets. So Patrick, Libby, and yes even you Chelsea and Jordan, beware of Lucas, he is dangerous!



I must agree that there is a possibility that Denise could be alive. But wouldn't that be a miracle after we saw her being killed by Lucas?

Allright, suppose Denise is working together with 'the old Bill'. Then she must have given Lucas the impression that he killed her, the drowning part could have been easy. And procucing a corpse that looks like Denise is with help from the police not unthinkable. But Denise is a brave woman and I wouldn't put it past her if she was ready to help the police to get Lucas behind bars. But faking getting killed while it is realy happening is very tricky. But theoretically speaking not impossible.

i heard from my friend that it wasnt denise they fou8nd in the river it was a prostitute that lucas had dumped in the river denise is totally gonna show up soon ;) xx

I don't think denise is dead, and here are my reasons:



1. The actress who plays Denise (Diane Parish) has NOT said she's leaving EE.

i love this storyline but i think its nearing its conclusion now ive watched the clip i dont believe denise is dead either i think shes in the crowd walking with the people following the funeral procession but stands off at the back when the procession walkers stop .

Another reason it might not be Denise in the water is her body would have had to undergo a postmortem. Which apart from the fact there would be potentially obvious strangulation markings on her neck, in addition to this, would be that as she was killed before entering the water; there would be substantially less fluid on the lungs and that is something easily detectable. Surely the writers would not have overlooked this, so something exciting must be going to happen!

I think Lucas should pay for what he did. I mean he is suppose to be a Pastor and yet he kills Owen, Trina, Denise. Where is the Bible Lucas does it say that u have to take another person's life. I cannot begin to know how Libby, Chelsea, & Jordan feels. U destroyed them Lucas. But one day my friend justice will be done

Well Denise does turn up at her own funeral. She is in the background to the left hand side. Also when i received my eastenders newsletter this morning it said that some people think there is a ghost present! So if that isn't a big enough clue. I also think that Lucas dies in a fire as i have read that where he is going is going to be very warm.

I don't think it's Denise, as when they brought that body up from the water there was not one ring on the womans hand and Denise had rings on almost all of her fingers! Then again Lucas could of took em and pawned em lol.

Now come on, I watch CSI and Waking The Dead just like everyone else so I proud to say I am an armchair amateur Pathologist. If Denise was already dead when she was thrown into the water, there was no way she could drown - surely this would have been noticed in the autopsy? So how come the police have not aready come knocking at the door and her body has been released for burial?

So pleased we got it right about Denise still being alive. Now someone has to rescue her. Lucas needs to get his punishment. Puzzled about one thing though - the police knew what Denise looked like & have seen the body so they must have known it wasn`t Denise? They shouldn`t have released the body or were they waiting for Lucas to slip up. Of course it could be they`re nore interested in catching motorists than catching killers, you just can`t get the staff now!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the police officer that interviewed Denise for Owen's murder, the same officer that was with Lucas when he "identified" her body??....Didn't he notice it was not the same woman!!!

Well-done Eastenders; this story line is simply brilliant. We hope for more brilliance as Lucas is finally exposed.

Good story, but I wish they did it so she had to struggle to get out rather than he just simply let her go. It would've been nice to see her fight her way free. The whole story wasn't without its flaws, but nonetheless it was entertaining.

If a EastEnders cast member leaves then they tell us on here a couple of time in advance so i knew that denise was still alive cuz shes wasnt leavin or quiting
