why do eastenders allow amira to drink alcohol?

they make such a deal showing shes muslim yet they let her do something which you CANNOT do. Muslims are not allowed to drink and its disappointing a show like eastenders, having made such a fuss showing they have a muslim family allow them to drink openly. it is infact disgusting as a muslim to watch that, and completely distances me from the character who i really liked when she first joined

I don't think she is aloud to drink alcohol. She doesn't normally as Peggy asked 'are you sure?' and looked susprised when she asked for a triple vodka. She was also upset about Syed's reaction.

Aww poor Christian he had to be nice to Amira but it's so sad that he can't get Syed! Go Lucy for doing something but then Christian could ruin his friendship with Amira and Syed won't want to talk to him because even though his parents know he could be kicked out of his religion and the rest of his family could disown him. Aww it's so sad that Christian had to fall in love with someone who would have to really fight to be with him and it's unlikely that Syed's parents will ever really forgive Syed even though it's not his fault he's homosexual. x :(

Christian has never got the man he wanted he should get one man he wants but not Syed! wat is up with, him and married men?? i swear i just wonder wat is up with christian head amira might have a baby and christian is goin on syed when he even might be a dad. if syed wasnt goin to be a dad this might be a different situation.what kind of a dad would syed be if he's child knew that their dad is by-sexual .i am sorry for christian but he should really go on guys who are not married that might be having a baby but overall i do love christian and the comic is funny lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Syed is a coward. He should either tell his wife he doesn't fancy her and move on or put his sexual desires for Christian to one side and love his wife as a husband should do. There are many people who control their feelings for the same sex and eventually get over them. It's a myth that people are born gay, its more to do with them being human and having certain desires.



As for Christian, he is the worst offender here. He should understand he's dealing with a married couple and shouldn't keep on trying to seduce Sayid. If Christian left the square, over time Syed and Amira could become a great couple and Syed may even move on from his thoughts of being with a man.

It's gone on for so long that I think everyone feels sorry for both Amira and Christian. Christian needs to move on and Amira needs to get a better guy that I am sure would be out there...Syed needs to be taught a lesson.



On the other hand. I think Syed and Christian are totally in love with each other and it would make great tele to see a happy ending but as it's eastenders I doubt that would happen!!!

I also think that Syed should come clean and be honest with Amira and should have been from the start. It has been vert delicate for him as his religious beliefs forbits it, he has done what his family and his culture expect from him. This must be a terrible situation to be in. He is also in denial. The person I feel most sorry for is Amira she is the one who will truly suffer when this all comes out. Great viewing.

To be honest I have been on Christians side since the begining.Nobody can help who they fall in love with and Christian has fallen for Syed.But now he wants to say to him that enough is enough and that He wants Syed and he must come clean to everyone now because it is tearing Christian apart seeing Syed with Amira.But that being said Christian and Syed would be a hot couple together.

Too much time taken up on eastenders with the whole fat boy story can't stand the way he talks ( annoying) also his mates are a pain as well. They will have thier own programme soon (E20) can't the writers just get rid of them from EE and lets just stick to our usual characters. It's becomming boring.
