i dont no myself i have read that bradley is leaving in a few weeks so it could be him but i think his storyline at the moment is to obious to be him none of the cast no yet either i read upon on that they dont no untill the final one where the murderer is arrested which will be a live episode i cant wait for it but i no one thing is for sure its going to be a very good twist................

Also remember he defended Ian when he got arrested - why???



He will have the missing ring which everyone is looking for. However only the viewers will see that he has it.

Well someone has said the murderer will be arrested on the live show ..... but i watched an interview with Dedrick and he sort of said that although WE may find out the police in the show may not ! so...... it may not be someone that is leaving the programme. So that would rule out Bradley ( Please don't leave love ya ) Peggy, Sam ? Who else is leaving ?

i think its bradley because he's suppose to be leaving the sqaure.

I think its Stacey, she certainly had cause and hitting a man over the head from behind is most likely a woman thing since she wouldn't be able to kill him face to face

The storylines is just SO cleverly done! One week it looks like it's Bradley, the next week it looks like it's Jack, and then it might be Ronnie or Phil! It's brilliant! But I still think it was either Stacey or Jack.



Or Billie Jackson, cos he was acting all innocent when he was told about the murder lol

i think it was staceys friend becca, once stacey told her about archie i think she left the hospital and went to get her revenge !!!! and be honest she is quite obsessed with stacey

What everyone seems to have overlooked is that Archie's first wife Glenda who has only recently surfaced is the most 'expendable'. IE she will not be missed when arrested and leaves the show.

I am not sure if Billie Jackson murdered Archie , but lets just say they is a storyline that may suggest that he did it though.

I think it is 1 of 2 people either Grant because the Mitchells are to closely involved and are to obvious suspects, they are more clever than that and so are Eastenders! This whole situation with them losing the vic was down to sam and she ran off to be with Grant and i think it was planned between them for him to do it because it wouldn't be a suspect! And to help save his family and get back what they think is rightfully theirs. But then i am thinking Ben because all this sent his dad back on the drink and he has sat back and watched Archie rip his family apart and then having to see his dad drunk again and his family more or less on the street this might have tipped him over the edge......and at the end of the day he is still a Mitchell!!

I thought Bradley did it but now im not sure i say phil or grant . What am i saying how could it be grant he lives in portugal dosent he !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Peggy- He Dragged Her Out Her Home ( NOT LITERALLY )

Phil- He Caused Discretion To His Family.

Ben- He Had Him Kicked Out His Home

I'm willing to bet on a outsider intead, someone like say Lucy. Take into account what Archie did to her dad and what we have seen she is capable off... also I tend to think whoever did it had to be psychically weak. They could have killed Archie anyway and kept the secret relatively quiet, to use a bustier suggests a character that is not of a strong physique.



I'm taking a chance on Lucy. I do not think it is Bradley as they have made him such an obvious suspect, I think there's more to it than that but I do not think it is Bradley.

well i think it's either phil or jack what i think of jack he is ronnie's lover but viewers do'nt forget he is a cop. phil he never liked archie phil was going to kill him but peggy told him of for not killing him for the first time. jack he allways loved ronnie he did have a row with archie but when he left the vic bradders punched him then after maybe jack done it with the queen vic bust.

i think it was Shirly. she'd do anything for phil, and i think after he said he was gonna kill him she did it for him knowing in his state he'd get caught...her or glenda..shes a dodgy one too

First things first for all those people who say that bradley done it is wrong for two reason, 1. we saw what he done to Archie in the first place and hes going to get killed so he cant have killed Archie if that is going to be his storyline as i read in the paper that they were going to kill Bradley off.



Personally i dont know but i kinda think its sam but whoever it is its the most unlikely person in Albert square.

i think it might be bekka, i mean shes abit weird about how close stacey n bradley are together and she clings to her. She knows what stacey told her about being raped by archie, maybe shes kinda obsessed with stacey n thought she would kill archie for her. I think either bradley takes the blaime for it n goes down or he finds out it was bekka n he tells stacey to choose between him and bekka n stacey cant choose so he leaves her...

I have a convincing feeling it was Stacey! Remember she saw Bradley leaving the Vic after his punch up with Archie. SO we all know that she would have guessed Archie told Bradley to 'get lost' So I reckon, Stacey has gone back to the Vic. She does not want to argue with Archie, so pushes the Bust on his head. Beside, we all know she wants to be with Bradley and does not want to go back into a secure place/hospital/prison, hence bring her new friend into the Slater house will keep her occupied from breaking down and telling everyone!!??!!

To be honest, I find the whole list of suspects (and there are enough of them arent there?) really tedious and way too predictable. The whole who dunnit list will just provoke the reaction of, "oh it was him/her afterall, oh well moving on anyone want a cuppa?". For the purpose of EE FIRST EVER live episode and thier anniversary, I really think they need to completely throw us a curve ball. I vote for a total outsider! Danielle Jones or Jean Slater get my votes. Come on EE writers/producers, truly shock us for once!! from a bored EE fan

has anyone thought bout maybe the killer could be archies alleged son danni mitchell who suddenly came on the scene 2 be with his sister on the day of his funeral. my other theory is grant mitchell the only mitchell who wasnt a suspect.

Another suspect who has yet to be mentioned by ANY1!! is Joel- Ronnies ex. He has quite a big motive considering the whole Danielle thing and when the 'Who killed Archie?' story was first annoucned in a EE year book he was one of four suspects shown.

I think its Sean Slater as when I looked at the family tree charts on the Eastenders website, he was still an active cast member. I read the other day this story line has been kept secret and planned for a year. If he was to come back to the square, im sure they wouldnt say he was coming back in papers/internet etc. He is also a strong suspect to me as the stacy/bradley storyline is the strongest clue as to who did it...............?

Looking at the list of people it could be has anyone noticed that Grant is on there? ... he hasnt been mentioned for a while, I think he may of murdered Archie due to the fact there could be another shock return in store :) and i think it would be great if he came back and mixed everyhing up again

It's Grant that did it. He came back when his sister returned, then did the dirty deed so the Mitchell's kept the pub and then return home again.

Seeing as Barbara Windsor is due to leave in March, isn't she the most likely? She sure looks like one evil, murderous cow.

Why release a statement in December that Charlie Clements is leaving. Pretty much ruined the whole storyline for me. Also bring back Shabnam Massood and give her some decent scripts. Just seen Zahra Ahmadi in Bellamy's People and she was brilliant. Eastenders lost some great talent there.

Ronnie, Peggy, Phil, Janine, Jack, Bradley ALL too obvious, dont think any of them.

Jack - because he loved Ronnie and saw what Archie had done to her, plus he's been acting real chummy with the cops investigating the case.



Roxy - she was Daddy's girl, but she saw what he done to her family, plus she obviously knew that if he died everything would go to her.

I am very sure Jack killed Archie, he is being too helpful to the Police. The killer always gets interested in helping to solve murder crimes. Guilty conscience and cover-ups!

i think it would be awesome if peggy rang grant after phil didn't kill Archie when peggy told him to, so grant came back to kill him for her, but then phil decided to kill him and grant pushed the statue on him and him and phil covered it up.



coz peggy sed phil was looking guilty and phil was like 'just as much as you mum.'

Quite possibly Jane, she is very feisty, looks strong enough to lift the bust, she was conveniently in and out of the show at the time and has her bad side = cheating with Grant etc.

i think ive got a hunch that Denise Johnson is the one that killd Archie, because in one episiode there was a dust-bin truck with dennis writing on it thn when the camra went off it and back on it the writin had been edited out. take a look i think it was tuesdays ep. :)

I think the killer is either minty, billy or Dr Al.

Minty's motive is that he likes sam so he might have done it for her.

Billy could have done it for the mitchells so he can get back into their good books.And Dr Al who is an outsider but could have killed him for roxy. Why has he suddenly disappeared? The excuse he made wasn't even real. He also said to roxy before he left that "I will be back in a couple of weeks" which means in the forthcoming week.

It's definately not the obvious ones as why would the writers keep it secret for so long if the killer turns out to be an obvious suspect. 100% certain its not bradley or any of the mitchells except billy.



Pat has the ring as those gloves are for women. Also she said to simmon on the phone that I am having it valued. Ryan will get it though.

Am I still the only one who thinks it's Suzy Branning?



Although I do think the Danny Mitchell suggestion is an interesting idea. I could see Sean's motivation as well.
