The BBC College of Journalism and UNESCO will be marking World Press Freedom Day this year by holding a debate at the Frontline Club in London on the impact of convergence on the impartiality of broadcasters.
Caroline Thomson, the BBC's chief operating officer, Prof Stephen Barnett of the University of Westminster, Sir Robert Worcester, MORI/Ipsos group and the political journalist, Nicholas Jones, will be debating the motion, 'Unregulated political comment online helps the democratic process'.
