What Future for Aid?
On 29 November ministers and senior officials from 160 countries will gather in Busan, South Korea, to decide on the future of development aid. They will be joined by the heads of 70 international organisations and numerous civil society groups.
In the run up to the Fourth High-Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness, Brenda Killen, head of the Aid Effectiveness Division at the OECD Development Assistance Committee, Solomon Mugera, the BBC World Service editor, Africa, and James Deane, head of policy and thematic at the BBC World Service Trust, will explore the significance of the event and why aid effectiveness matters.
