Knowledge is getting flatter - which means that our audiences get the idea that, on the web, they can increasingly get straight to the thing they want to know.
All that leafing through books, papers, searching library indexes or watching programmes ... forget it. Search and personalisation is the way to go.
Former audiences are changing in other ways too - and it's not a bad idea to keep an eye on how they're behaving. It might not be what you want or expect - but you're going to have to live with it.
