Wednesday 19 January, BBC Television Centre, London

Twitter is an essential source for news stories and content, but it is also an important tool for reporting stories as they happen.

In this lunchtime session, Matthew Eltringham and Claire Wardle will explore the different ways in which media organisations around the world use Twitter to report the news and examine their advantages and disadvantages.

They'll be using the recent student protests in London to illustrate this.

When:

Wednesday 19 January 2011

1.30pm - 2.30pm

Where:

Room 4, 6th Floor Suite, BBC TV Centre, London
