Thursday 27 January, British Film Institute, London

David Dunkley Giymah, the acclaimed video journalist, David Hayward, of the BBC College of Journalism, and Paul Egglestone, UCLan, are launching a series of events and debates looking at the art of video journalism.

In the first of these sessions, we're inviting some of the most creative video journalists working today to put forward their views. They'll be the opportunity for a free and open discussion about styles, structure and content, what works, what doesn't, and what makes excellent video journalism.

It's taking place at the BFI on Thursday 27 January 2011 and is open to anyone interested in the subject. If you'd like to come along, please email david.hayward@bbc.co.uk
