I thought since it was my day off i would stop by a say hello to everyone.....HELLO lol. Literally bit my fingernails to the nubs watching last nights episode. I think i look forward to the penultimate episodes more than the actual finale. Just dreading next week, will either have wait a year for series five or it will be cancelled. Anyone know anything about it yet?

Hal wasn't actually meant to be at HH - when Leo died he'd have gone bad at that point and that was why the future ended up the way it did.



When future Eve had herself killed so that she could go back in time to send Hal, Leo and Pearl to HH. That is the point, imho, when Eve fulfilled her purpose as saviour. By sending Hal to HH, she stopped him from becoming the man he would have become. He no longer is the poster boy for the vamps - he has a new family to care for and who care for him - he will see off the OOs. Baby Eve doesn't need to die.

@sasha: thanks for re-posting, I was just going to reply when I saw the new blog (it all moves so fast!). Yes, think that hits the nail on the head. Eve was clearly really surprised that Hal hadn't killed the baby straightaway as she only knew him as the cold-hearted vampire leader.

Good to see a properly bad ww, balances it out quite nicely. And I love Mr Snow, perfectly chilling.

I need to go now. Evil younger sibling is demanding the computer and therefor I shall give le computer to it. I'll be on again tomorrow. About fourish.

@32 A role-playing game is basically a group of people who make their own characters with different stats for strength, speed and so on. The games master plans a quest and describes the scene and the characters decide what do do based on their skills and personality. It's really cool to do with friends. You get to act out your character and portray different emotions. I role-play myself. Total self confessed geek!

I'm so excited about the BBWW.... Sings *who's afraid of the big bad wolf...* So far the evil has mostly been the wolf form itself. Will be good to see a WW who doesn't play nice!

@55 Let's just say I had LOTS of coffee!! Usually it's 6-8 hours. It took me a while to feel confident acting out the characters. But once you get to grips with them you'll find you forget who you are for a while!!

OOOOOOOooo *takes long puff on imaginary cigar (not condoning smoking at all, hence imaginary!) and settles back on blog sofa* so the plot thickens! I love that Annie is a legend, and that we have a BBWW (nice one BBD!) Would they really kill off all the OO's in the next ep though, I mean they are the ultimate BH evil that's been takled about since S1, if they're gone what's left to fight...?

In the OO's prequel when Mr Snow appears and is about to kill he doesn't have any fangs, just very old decaying teeth.

I hope a vamp character does a rendition of 'New York' next week, just so we can see who the voice is. Its the only question that has gone through the series being unanswered.

I'm thinking they'll kill off a couple/half of the OO's, probably the ones at the back of the scene. They wouldn't bring in Mr Snow, Hettie and that woman just to kill them straight away would they surely?

@Leanneloveschoc (67) Maybe it's nothing that complicated, I know they've been closeted away in Bolivia, but surely the OO's still have phones etc.? They had organised to take Mitchell and knew about the BT20 as you point out so it stands to reason they are well informed about the rest of the world too, after all Snow is the king of the vamps so he needs to have a way to communicate and rule.

Sorry if anyone has already pointed this out, but I don't quite understand why Eve is so intent on killing her baby self. She said "in order for her to fulfill her destiny, the war child must die", well she already HAS died AND changed the course of history by putting Hal in the house. So why must her baby self be killed? She's already been her own Nemesis by causing her own death!
