"Hooded Fang" is from a kid's book called "Jacob Two-Two Meets the Hooded Fang". He's a nasty pro wrestler who runs a detention camp for wayward children, but turns out to be a softy at the end. There was a movie too.

When the vampire recorder is supposed to be writing down important minutes about taking over the world he's actually doodling this. The Vampires have no chance!! :-)

The villains would be scratching their heads over Rhesus Thunderbolt. I love that Regus has included his "special hat" with his costume.

If we're to go on what we've saw in the future then Eve doesn't wipe out the Vampires as they're in the process of sacking New York when we visit 2037.

10,11- It is definitely a black/chalkboard with loads of symbols on it. I'm just re-watching S4E1 and at round 37:22 you can see it there.

15. she hasn't done it YET. on re-watch i saw that Hal identifies another of the symbols on the parchment for us, this time on the right had piece, he points somewhere on the left hand piece and says "it wont happen today or tomorrow, it could be years from now, but it will happen" Is 25 years too soon? and which symbol is he translating, have we seen it anywhere else?

I don't understand why he drew this showing him as a 'super Villan' yet he is all for Eve killing all of the vampires. Surely if he wants to be this great vampire then Eve is bad news.

If the Scrolls aren't true, he has no purpose. So he wants Eve to be the War Child and destroy the vampires, otherwise his whole existence has been a sham (in his view).

We had the Man from DelMonte and now we have Regus - Mild mannered bookworm by day albeit vampire and by Night the Blood Ranger or Avenger unless Rhesus. i expect the villainous werewolves will be dead by boredom before he finds the right calling as a superheroic villain or super villainous hero...

The Tom-bot comes with his dad coat, a backpack containing stakes, he wears a teeth necklace a tee shirt and a pair of long shorts and sneakers. The premium Tom is in his cafe best for the vintage one we plan a full werewolf outfit , but we are still undecided WHETHER TO GO AHEAD OR NOT. All depends on the public reception, we plan to launch an ad campaign very soon

He seems to be confused about whether he wants to be a hero or villain.

Er... technically villainous (not just because he's a vampire, also because he's keen to see all vampires destroyed - which is betrayal), but as far as the rest of the world's concerned he's probably a hero for the moment...

And he ran off when George and Tom shredded most of the Barry chapter. So much for his picture "kicking werewolf face"...

@SAINTIXE56: don't forget more stakes in Tom-bot's shorts pockets, in the poacher's pocket of his coat, etc. And a craft-knife for making more.



Regus did play a very vital role in protecting Eve (by stalling for time, even if the only reason it worked was because the others found it entertaining and didn't expect even ONE rescue mission to turn up, never mind two) so no wonder he's drawing his supercostume.

It looks on the background and character images as though Hal's been forced to borrow Mitchell's old jacket and hairgel... Maybe he accidentally sets his wardrobe on fire? Or Tom forces him to wear something halfway normal to work... (though I like the suit)

As for altering trousers, I suppose that sometimes Tom needs extra room for extra stakes...

Hospital wear proved what our column has been saying for thousand of years: Green is not a colour easily worn. Long dresses for the morning breakfast with a Hawaian theme can be lovely. Though we draw the line at drastic dieting. One does not lose weight by poking an hideous Art Deco fake statue in one’s stomach. If you must let it be a real Chiparus. Lastly nothing tops Pink for dancing when one is a girlie dead girl.

Just a thought - ghosts don't have shadows. Right? Wrong?

And you can make those Advantage Card points go very far if you want to...Rimmel have a new range of deadly colours to mask that really undead palour...and make you feel like a Barry Girl (other makeup ranges are available, smiling at today's Mod) (and other high street chemist with loyalty cards too, still smiling sweetly at Mod) x

Regarding werewolves: last year we she-wolf ladies of the night could show off our lovely bare shoulders with an asymmetrical top; this year Milan is only offering masculine surf fashion for mysterious reasons. Even if Karl Lagerfeld tells us it is quite the thing for our boys to wear red striped aprons, I really cannot see for the un-life of me how this can be the ‘in’ thing. Unless one stakes one’s neighbour and rightly one would want to avoid vampire blood splashing on one’s coat. Practical yes, but fashionable: No way. And why men only. It is not because our late and much regretted petite model Nina was addicted to trousers, that Dior must stop catering for us!

And as we are aware of the particular requirements of our fanged-friends, I have to say that our new fashion editor is one of...them...likes tea-dresses...very short tea-dresses...denim jackets...and getting covered in blood...how does she do it? "Well I just threw this old thing on...You should see what we had to use in the '40s. I had my hair in a headscarf...can you imagine...pancake makeup when I could get it...and have you tried getting blood out of a fake-silk tea-dress?"

Loved the cartoon version of Regus - was hilarious - and thanks for another great bit of on-line content. But aren't we missing something here? There must be a clue about Regus - he sees himself as a super-hero - but why? (I'm assuming that he drew the picture himself at this point). In the picture he is kicking a wolf and fighting off another wolf from behind - but he stood by when Tom and George killed the vampires - so why? He thinks that Eve must stay alive - to kill the vampires - why? Have they got it all wrong? If The Woman from the Future wants to kill baby Eve, to stop the vampires - then one of them is wrong - but which one?

Once again they did it. Yes, once again they pulled it through. Vampires rule the cat walk or rather (wink-wink) the dog walk. For three years, we have been spoilt to bites (easy one) by gorgeous Mitchell who managed to steal the show while avoiding getting caught on camera (another easy one). Though one must say that PC William Herrick’s choice of appalling jim-jams and this mockery of a shirt raised more than one hairy eyebrow. No, it is not because one is a vampire that sartorial good taste is a given! His feeble attempt of fancy-dressing as Magnum P.E. with the ridiculous tropical shirt made us laugh. Stick to uniforms, Uncle Billy. I still shudder at the memory of his corporate suit.

50- On closer look, the lady has a fang in the pic. Damn! That could've been so profound!!

Yes, this year, all our eyes were resting on the shoulders of Divine Hal. This very young man who is barely 500ys old, a teenage Old One, has been given the gift of bringing back the sexy in braces. His wear of the bow tie simply sucked our breath away. His three-piece suit with a casual neck-free shirt is so… endearing. Perfect sense of shoe wear. Let’s hope his budding friendship for adorable puppy-eyed mongrel Tom does not lead him to support the monstrous apron we have seen again and again at Milan, Paris, London and New York. Why an apron, Why here in Wales.

But this year, the cat walk queen was…

48 - Good point. He's kicking two wws away but he does have his fangs out....one of the names he's come up with for himself is Blood Moon. Blood (vamps) Moon (wws). Maybe there needs to be collaboration between a *good* vampire (i.e. one that wants to save humanity) and Eve to save the world? Gosh can't help but feel sorry for Eve - sure she'd rather that Hal was the *good* vampire. Bit easier on the eye and all that! Sorry Regus - I'm sure you're a perfectly nice vamp...or are you?

Mistress Rebecca, can I hit that green box with a hammer? It's starting to really annoy me now...

55 - I've only had the green box once but it keeps logging me out for some reason. I Should take it as a hint!

And someone has to iron all those shirts and dryclean those suits for our fang-friends, hope they have a drycleaning operation on the go along with the catch of the day franchise, that should bring in a few pounds for the coming vamp takeover...

Picture perfect, lovely rosy cheeked, spot on Pearl. Yes, girls this year ghosts can stop wearing this excuse of ‘not bothered’ grey shroud. This year, we are all going to bin out the leggings. No more long johns, because that is what they looked. No more Ugg-boots as in ‘ugggrh boooots’. 2012 is for ghosts what 1947 and Dior were for live women. The New Look is back. Nice long hair, charming make up, cocktail long dresses, adorable Christian Louboutin. Yes, fashion is back and it is not for weak tea lovers. Yes the undisputed queen of past years, late Annie Sawyer has lost her crown to adorable Pearl whose perfectly timed arrival on the fashion scene has lifted our spirits up. Not every ghost likes to be seen in shapeless outfits. Pearl, we needed you. Pearl, you must stay and lead the way!

For info - At times a big news story breaks and the BBC have a lot of 'traffic' and this can affect blogs. Try shutting down and starting up again. This can often happen at peak times - like lunch-time and tea-time. Well, that's what the guy that designed these blogs said last year. Just saying...

One of the things about peeps that insist that something is spoiler-free is that what a 'Spoiler' is - is pretty subjective. (SFX magazine really need to look up the word 'cryptic' in a dictionary). But thanks for posting, scifibulletin - nice of you to come by - welcome to the blog again - and I hope you love #beinghuman as must as the fans do. Sorry - not opening your link though.. just in case.. x

@64... As a fan, I know what I don't want spoiled when I watch an episode, so I'm very careful about what I put in the reviews (we're also asked very politely by the show's publicists to help maintain the surprises!)



It's always a dilemma, because I'd write a very different review of Being Human 1955 if it was going up after transmission, but these have to tantalise without giving too much away.



Have a look at it after 10 p.m. Sunday and see if you agree that it sets the scene without spoiling it - I'd be interested to hear yours (and everyone's) reactions

If I am ever thinking of watching a show that I don't know - I always want quite a lot of info about it before I invest my time in watching - and it is great that there has been so much publicity this year (never had much in previous years) if I were new to Being Human I'd be intrigued and watch. So as a huge fan of Being Human - once again - thanks for spreading the word!

Speaking of the pawnbroker scenes...did I see something that isn't there? Stop sniggering Mods, that isn't funny...In the scene where Tom says something about control, and pulls Hal away, do Hal's lips not move when he says something about you people...then they do for the next piece of dialogue, they aren't in synch or am I seeing things? I mean it Mods, stop sniggering!



Oh and does anyone else think Hal's accent sounds like James Purefoy's? Been trying to think who he reminded me of.

78 - Hiya Misty. I think Tom says to the shopkeeper - 'clean yourself up - do it now' as he is pulling Hal away? But I had to listen to it a couple of times to get it. Thought there was a bit of a stray *f* word in there first time round.



Do you know, I think that is one of the funniest things I've seen in ages, absolutely ages. I've watched the 'Hal....Hal....he's got me in a heimlich........nelson!' loads of times and it creases me up every time.



And as much as I loved Mitchell and George, I don't think this series will miss either of them at all. This comes from someone who was really worried about the prog when M was staked at the end of S3. I think that LT is spot on when he says we'll think 'Mitchell.....Mitchell who'. I'm more or less there already. I find Hal much more menacing than Mitchell ever was - even at his worst - in my book, that is a good thing. A.Very.Good.Thing.Indeed! As always, this is my opinion only and other opinions are widely available ;-)

I've meant to say before - there was some talk about the bedrooms Tom and Hal are using. That doesn't bother me but what does is that Nina and George chose the attic for the baby's room. Why? It's a long way from their room - not easy for those night feeds or just for listening for the baby crying. It's up an extra flights of stairs - looking after a baby is exhausting enough without the extra stairs. And it has a history. Three beings died in there in the space of a few weeks. So why on earth would they put the baby in there?

Phew! I feel better for that.

And do get me started on leaving a TV on all day for the baby - or even having one in the room.

Ooops!! That should be "don't" obviously. I do hate this 3 minute rule. *drums fingers*

Attic for baby's bedroom: babies don't usually move into their own bedroom for several months. It's quite likely that Annie was in charge of night feeds anyway (so that George and Nina didn't have to wake up - Annie doesn't sleep), plus it can be monitored with the chimney, AND the other rooms are Mitchell's (which was Mitchell's so no way), Annie's (which she's using) and the twin (guest) room (which is too big).

As for the TV, the baby wasn't getting any social interaction (George wouldn't even let Annie cuddle her, remember?) so the TV was presumably put there for her to focus on so that she wouldn't be bored.

Plus It was probably George's idea because it is probably easier to protect Eve in an attic with a narrow stairway up to it than the bridal suite.

Good point HAz152! The social worker Lisa actually overlooked the staircase at first (she went right past it, Fergus had to point it out to her), and one person with a stake can block the whole staircase (as we saw in "The Longest Day").

90- Likelihood is that Eve wasn't moved to the attic until after Nina's death. And he was constantly on guard in there.
