Wow, that was great. So funny, and heartbreaking, and awkward to watch in places, and gory, and there was actually an "Oh my God" moment when Mitchell knocked Cara's teeth out.......wow.



The music this episode was amazing as well.



Is anyone else a bit disappointed that Lucy is the Professor though? I just sort of wanted it to be a bit less obvious than that.....



But we still love you BH - can't wait to see what happens next week.

I said right from the start that Lucy was evil!!! I'm so glad I was right. Now I can stop trying to assure myself that my crush on Mitchell wasn't making me read too much into things. xD

So much to say so many funny bits so many epic bits such an AMAZING episode but all I can think is I knew it was Lucy!! Lol and that Nina best not die or there are gonna be some VERY peed off Being Human fans!! Arrrrgh watching again now I literally cannot get enough of this episode it was amazing. If anyone doubted that this series wasn't up to series 1 standard then this has to prove them wrong it has to be the funniest AND the most dramatic ever - it was just - wow!

Is Mitchell going to leave her down there or rescue her when the others aren’t looking?

Rebecca, I was wondering that. I think he's decided to leave her for now. But the fact that he left her "alive" leads me to suspect that he might go back on that decision later.

Well, well well, Lucy Jaggart, can we assume that everything she has said has been a lie? It has, she's only there because of the "Professor Jaggart, we've found them" phonecall at the endo of series 1.



God, she's evil. And didn't we know it, just from that look in ep1, like she was acting but when she shut the door it stopped. And now she's gonna kill Nina :'(



Grrr, I wonder when Mitchell will find out, next episode?

To hell with all the professor Jagget stuff, that was always obvious from the start and doesn't interest me much to be honest. It's little moments like this which made the show so successful and keep me tuning in. Comedy gold!

Will George find out is that a question will he smell Nina on her then what will happen will there be a Herrik in store for Lucy

re 27 and 30....yes I'm worried about that. Mitchell said she had been executed, when clearly he's left her alive. It was obvioulsy really hard for him, but I don't want him to go back and rescue her, because something will go wrong, the other vamps will find out, and it'll all come crashing down round Mitchell's ears...aaaahhh!

On the one hand that was the darkest episode we had but it was also one of the funniest.



Funniest scene in the history of Being Human ever has to be the 'the Real Hustle' bit. Good old BBC 3 promoting their own shows :D

There are so many good points it's hard to know where to start. Highlights: I actually laughed out loud at the marigolds/real hustle scene for a few solid minutes.

Strange and your beautiful- one of my favourite tracks. Wasn't it one that we recc'd last year?

Ugh I can't remember stuff. I'll have to come back when I've rewatched and calmed down.

Shell, though which is a bigger punishment. Killing someone and then it's over. Or leaving someone in a cave in agony, in the dark, all alone for a very long time. There is the possibility that he's drawing it out to make it worse for her. We'll see in later episodes but we should really consider both sides.

41 - Cieria, I agree leaving her to die is a worse punishment, but I have a horrible feeling she's going to get out - either Mitchell's going to cave (no pun intended), or one of the other vampires is going to check. Yeh, we'll see what happens I guess.

Loved the episode, love the bookend effect with the caves but... am I wrong to think that Mitchell was a bit cruel... I understand he HAD to follow through on his threat (hey I am a teacher I KNOW you have to follow through if you threaten a group of unruly people with something) but in fact he did NOT kill her, he took her teeth her and left her to rot down there... I think he should have killed her properly:

1. to actually follow through with his threat

2. it would have been more "human" than what he did

3. I think this could come back to bite him...





and oh... I was so right from ep 1 to think that Lucy was Jaggart!! :-)

WOnder if Mitchell does set Cara free but the other vampires see Cara hanging around, turn on Mitchell...



And how does Mitchell or George or Annie find out about Nine's whereabouts? Does Mitchell decide to get close to Lucy after figuring out she is hiding something herself? She gave the suicide guy the cross to hold, like she was testing him....Mitchell saw that and may remember that in future...then the doubts about her might start and he may decide to get closer to her (hence the snogging scene I think will bbe happening at some point) to find out her motives.



Its a sure-fire bet that Crazy Daisy has her sights set on Mitchell now by the fact that she was positively eyeing him up now that he's King and she loves that power...think she'll go for him, Ivan is going to get mightily hacked off...

Daisy was good this episode, but no Ivan. Do you think BH is doing this on purpose because one of them is very bad, and one of them is going to turn out good? I see Mitchell's trying to convince Ivan to go clean in the next Ep....?

Hmm I've had a thought (Yeah I know it's dangerous lol) apologies in advance if this turns into an epic...



In episode 2 Carl says something like "maybe it's time I stopped" and Mitchell said "No you're not ready" I meant to comment on that all week but there were so many distractions lol.



Now Mitchell chucks Cara (Am I spelling that right by the way? Never known anyone by that name?) down there and knocks her fangs out. He know's she's not dead and he leaves her.



Also in episode 2 Mitchell was tied to that chair for (possibly) up to 6 months or whatever :-S



Now when Carl says "time to stop" he obviously doesn't just mean stopping drinking because Mitchell says he's not ready and well, he wouldn't say that about stopping would he? Carl had been stopped apart from that mistake and so had Mitchell apart from his few mistakes...



So is any of it linked? Is it maybe something they do...but knocking their fangs out doesn't have to stop them killing/feeding - all they need is a knife or something sharp and they're sorted so...any thoughts lol?



I now have tea - It's meant to be calming me down but I don't think it's working lol.



Oh and my new favourite scene EVER the real hustle scene lol especially since I have done the exact same thing - when you're that upset about something and all you want is the little stability of an episode of friends - you KNOW it's on that same time every single day and has been since the dawn of time and now what "big brother live" NO! Dorina (63) they think Vamps are demons that must be destroyed, werewolves can only be cured thought dangers experiments and ghosts should be forced to ‘move on’ weather they want to or not.

He HAD to show an example with the fangs and he also wanted to detox her. So that was his solution.



Btw we are huge fans of the Real Hustle in the superochre household. To the point where I'm worried that I'm raising my boys to be super criminals. So that made me LOL.

I'm new to posting on the blog - have been reading it for a while though. After tonight's episode I felt I finally had to join in. I have also been following BH on FB but you seem to have more fun over here.



Have to admit I only started watching the show after it was on BBC1 but was totally hooked - can't get enough of it now.



Won't comment on tonight's ep yet cause I need to catch up with where you're all at - just thought I'd introduce myself.

Sorry, can't keep up with posts...and subject matter lol...the music is excellent as BH always seems to be...got confused with discussing Cara and music..it doesn't take much these days...strangely, although Aidan and George and acting fab, this week I got totally carried away with the storyline, almost forgot about how great the actors were :P

Haha yeah - I couldn't actually pinpoint a favourite this year. Sinead although only in it just a little bit was amazing but made me want to cry! Russell was hilarious and heartbreaking :-( Lenora was hilarious lol I'm loving Annie this series and Aidan - wow - all very dramatic and he does it brilliantly.



I need it to be next Sunday now! Lol!

Yeah, agree with you about Cara. I think he's keeping her in the cave to force her off the blood and then prove to the others it can be done.

Im finding it hard to get the Lucy as the Prof thing. Partly I was really liking their jokey relationship - and rather hoping M would find some love. But also if she's such a religious fundamentalist - even if she's acting a part - she says some pretty odd and even sexy things? - plus wouldnt she be disgusted by Mitchell (as if! - I know - but ..) and there's a small trailer with Mitchell and Lucy getting it on - but she just wouldnt would she? not even to catch him? CENSSA knows about him so she doesnt even need to catch him?



Lots to love - especially the humour - but lots of very very short scenes? and lots of scenes of Mitchell walking across bridges and spaces to different meetings (not that that isnt great to watch - given how well he moves) - felt a bit repetitive - though I know it needed to build up Mitchell as bad king. And he does angry so so well!!



Sorry - going on a bit - not sure about a lot of it - tho everyone else seems to think it was the best - need to watch again maybe it'll come together?

As for Nina - she CAN'T die! I think the fact that George wasn't fully transformed will matter - or maybe it's actually George who is different somehow? He always seemed stronger in some way - Tully said that he kept throwing up dead animals but don't think George has - and then in first episode of this series he's about to eat a bit more of that deer after he'd transformed back...anyway Nina starts with a nose bleed by the looks of it - whereas Galvin started bleeding from his main arteries straight away...? So there's surely some hope!

I'm wondering if she might actually manage to transform in there somehow and either breaks out or survives it...

Or maybe Lloyd? Maybe he comes through for us at last lol he said they seemed nice and he's certainly keeping up a "nice guy" persona on youtube and when we met him lol

As for Annie - finally we get to see "you can't haunt another ghost!" guy :-D

Im still wondering why she's bothering to get close to Mitchell - given she must think he's like a devil - but maybe - Kemp seemed really keen to get info about the funeral parlour - so she's trying to get to all his connections - how big is the vampire community and how can they get into it?

Tricky as their main concern otherwise seems to be curing werewolves?

yeah well think the idea was always to get close to him the grand plan...god knows - kill him, experiment on him, help him - only time will tell...
