BBC breaks records with most-streamed Winter Olympics to date
The BBC’s coverage of the Pyeongchang 2018 Olympic Winter Games was streamed 22.2m times across BBC Sport and BBC iPlayer, smashing the previous record of 6.2m streams for the Sochi 2014 Games.
BBC announces partnership with the Great Exhibition of the North
A raft of flagship BBC programmes will broadcast live from the Great Exhibition, showcasing the variety of events taking place in NewcastleGateshead and across the north, throughout the summer of 2018.

Daytime
On Wedensday, Dan McGolpin, Controller of BBC Programming and Daytime, announced a number of exciting new commissions for the BBC One daytime schedule - adding to the existing factual and entertainment line-ups in 2018.
Comedy
It was confirmed that BBC One Scotland's comedy series Still Game returns for another hilarious six-part series following the adventures of lifelong friends Jack Jarvis and Victor McDade as they cope with everything modern life throws at them.
Elsewhere, BBC NI have launched new comedy series, Soft Border Patrol.
Entertainment
The press pack for BBC One's All Together Now - The Final has been published.
Factual
BBC One confirmed that 11 documentaries from across England on the art that tells our history, The Romans, slavery, silk and coal - Civilisations Stories will come to the network.
Elsewhere, BBC One and BBC Two announced two brand new science series: Life On The Ward (w/t), a two part immersive series about one of London’s biggest hospitals, King’s College Hospital, for BBC One; and a fascinating look at The Wonderful World Of Babies (w/t) for BBC Two.
Digital
This week we launched our first augmented reality app, Civilisations AR. Developed by BBC Research & Development, BBC Arts and Nexus Studios, the app features over 30 fascinating artefacts from museums across the UK that have been digitally scanned and are now available to view in 3D as part of a new virtual exhibition.
Children's
On Thursday a new interactive story narrated by actor Brian Blessed, The Best Book In The World, launched on the CBeebies Storytime app for World Book Day 2018.
Elsewhere, Blue Peter presenters Radzi Chinyanganya and Lindsey Russell are donning their trainers and taking on their very own Mile-a-thon challenge for Sport Relief 2018, running 26 individual miles with children from 26 different schools across the country.
International
BBC News Ukraine - BBC News Україна - announced it is launching its first TV programme. From Monday 26 February, the live 12-minute news bulletin will air on the Ukrainian channel, Hromadske TV, at 22.00 local time (20.00 GMT), Monday to Friday. The programme also will be available via the website bbc.ua and the BBC News Ukraine YouTube channel.
