Scott says: "It paves its own way"
Scott: “It manages to look at the adult industry in a way which I think is showing its complexities, in a way that I think is so fascinating.
“It doesn’t fall into the pitfalls about whether it’s a good or a bad thing, whilst also still managing to talk about the myriad of issues that adult performers face in this industry. Whether that’s being pressured into participating in things they may not be happy with, to changing tastes online.
"It also paves its own way - the plot heads in a direction that you do not expect. The twists and turns in episode two make this a Must Watch."
Hayley says: "I love the little details"
Hayley: “I really liked it - I loved all the stuff about the reality of this being a job. There are some bleak scenes and they are deliberately bleak and harshly lit. Mid-scene she’s planning the list of house chores she’s going to be doing when she gets home. And I love the little details mid-scene like where you’ll get the point of view from the porn actor - she’ll be looking at a plug socket or a base of a lamp. It’s so simple yet so telling of their emotions and what they’re thinking about.
“Like Scott says, I like that it doesn’t fall into the tropes of ‘everybody is either creepy or exploitative'. There’s complexity in every relationship and especially in this industry.”
