Huw says: "It isn't high drama - but sometimes it feels that way"

"It's a unique drama because it's based on the real family life of its lead actress. It's the story of Alice Wilson, played by Ruth Wilson, who's married to an older guy, Alec, played by Iain Glen. After he dies unexpectedly, another woman turns up claiming to be his real wife. This completely pulls the rug out from under Alice and she starts to investigate - and finds out her husband is not the man she thought he was.

"The fascinating thing is that he is Ruth Wilson's real grandfather, Alec, and Mrs Wilson is Ruth Wilson's real grandmother. And this all really happened with a bit of dramatic embellishment.

"It could seem self-indulgent but it's such an interesting story, it doesn't come off that way to me at all.

"In real life, Alice Wilson didn't find out about this at all. The show has made her more proactive to find out about it.

"The thing that surprised me is that it isn't really high drama, but the small emotional moments make it feel that way."

Boyd says: "It isn't quite as good as it could have been"

"I was really looking forward to this. I love Ruth Wilson - she's brilliant. The whole idea of her playing her own grandmother and portraying this story, was fascinating.

"I was slightly disappointed.

"Every TV drama that you see these days has a quality to it - in the way it's written, shot and performed. Ruth Wilson and the whole cast are brilliant. In the telling of the story, there's something slightly lacking for me.

"I felt, because they felt they had to stay fairly true to the reality of the situation, they haven't made it as dramatically powerful as it could have been. It isn't quite as good as it could have been.

"The way the flashbacks are used in this felt a little bit clunky to me.

"It just felt slightly too straightforward for me.

"Not a must watch for me."
