Science is all around us in every day life.

There's examples of science everywhere, including the weather (and seasons) outside, a kettle boiling or music playing from a speaker. Science is happening even when we aren't thinking about it.

We don't just learn about science in school, we use and experience it in many different ways every day.

What science is used everyday?

Without science, many every day things would not be able to function properly.

For example:

  • If there was no electrical circuits, then lights, televisions and computers wouldn't be able to work and electric cars wouldn't charge.
  • Without gravity we would float around in space.
  • If doctors didn't study human biology, they wouldn't be able to help us when we're sick.
  • We couldn't travel in cars, busses, planes or rockets without engineers designing amazing vehicles.
