This poem, called Ich bin dagegen – I’m against it – explores the fact that despite every good intention, it’s not always easy to make the changes needed to be umweltfreundlich.

b. I am against driving more slowly – ich bin dagegen, langsamer zu fahren.

What does the writer not want to happen to the holiday regions?
She says: I don't want the holiday regions to be flooded – ich bin dagegen, dass Urlaubsregionen überschwemmt werden.
This has two meanings, as überschwemmt also means ‘overrun’. So the writer could be against holiday regions being flooded as well as being overrun with too many tourists.
