Is mise Aoibh Nic Giolla Bháin. Tá a lán siopaí cóngarach do mo theach mar aon le lárionad siopadóireachta agus cúpla teach tábhairne. Tá a lán áiseanna eile i mo cheantar, mar shampla, iarsmalann, teach pobail, amharclann agus pictiúrlann thart fá mhíle ar shiúl ó mo theach. Tá a lán le déanamh i mo cheantar mar tá rogha leathan áiseanna spóirt ann. Is féidir peil, scuais, cispheil agus leadóg a imirt sa tsólann. Ar an lámh eile, tá a lán fadhbanna sóisialta ann fosta, mar atá, ólachán, bruscar agus callán san oíche. Bíonn na daoine óga iontach callánach agus iad ag dul abhaile i ndiaidh an dioscó. Go minic, bíonn na sráideanna salach ar maidin.
Tá dúil mhór agam i mo cheantar mar tá a lán le déanamh ann. Tá an chathair mór gnóthach agus tá a lán fadhbanna ann agus níor mhaith liom bheith i mo chónaí in áit ar bith eile.

Translation
I am Aoibh Nic Giolla Bháin. There are a lot of shops near my house as well as a shopping centre and a couple of pubs. There are a lot of other facilities in my area, for example a museum, a chapel, a theatre and a cinema about a mile from my house. There is a lot to do in my area because there is a wide range of sports in it. It is possible to play football, squash, basketball and tennis in the leisure centre. On the other hand, there are a lot of social problems also, such as drinking, rubbish and noise at night. Young people are very noisy at night when they are going home after the disco. The streets are often dirty in the morning.
I really like my area because there is a lot to do. The city is big and busy with a lot of problems but I would not like to live anywhere else.
