Salut, je m’appelle Julie. J’habite dans une petite ville pas loin des montagnes du Massif Central. Pendant l’hiver, il y a plein de touristes qui viennent faire du ski, et la circulation, sur les routes, c’est l’horreur !
En été, quand il fait chaud, mes amis et moi, on se retrouve en ville pour faire du shopping. On passe des heures dans les magasins et les cafés du centre-ville.
Hi, my name’s Julie. I live in a small town not far from the mountains of the Massif Central. During the winter there are lots of tourists who come for skiing, and the traffic on the roads is horrible. In summer when it's hot, my friends and I meet up and go shopping in town. We spend hours in the shops and cafés in town centre.

Bonjour. Moi, c'est Karim. Dans mon village, il n’y pas beaucoup de choses à faire pour les jeunes. J’habite à la campagne, loin de mes amis. Quand il pleut, mon frère et moi, nous allons au centre sportif pour jouer au basket, ou bien, s’il fait beau, nous avons trouvé un endroit formidable pour faire du skate.
In my village there is not much to do for young people. I live in the country, far from my friends. When it rains, my brother and I go to the sports centre to play basketball or, if the weather is nice, we have found a great place to skateboard.
