What's your name? Laura

Where do you stay/are you from? Minnesota, USA

What inspired you to learn Gaelic? I am writing a trilogy set in Scotland.

What tips do you have for other Gaelic learners? Spend a little time each day with it. There are lots of great sites on the internet where you can read and translate.

How do you use Gaelic in your daily lives? I don't, except to see if my husband, who was raised in Ireland, understands any of my Scottish Gaelic (He usually doesn't).

Do you have a favourite Gaelic expression? Not so far.

A bheil molaidhean agad airson luchd-ionnsachaidh eile? Cuir beagan tìde seachad ag ionnsachadh na Gàidhlig gach latha. Tha tòrr làraich mhatha air an eadar-lìon far am bi cothrom agad Gàidhlig a leughadh is eadar-theangachadh.

Ciamar a tha thu a' cleachdadh Gàidhlig nad bheatha làitheil? Cha bhi ro thric, ach nuair a tha mi a' bruidhinn ris an duine agam, thogadh esan ann an Èirinn, son faighinn a-mach am bi e gam thuigsinn (mar as trice, cha bhi).
